First that village people kidnapped her , sold to grandma , grandma knew that girl was human trafficked, but still…
there are so many changes that it'll be fun to explore the story again another way, hope you enjoy! im seconding that i liked how raw the novel characters were in the beginning because i enjoyed their healing journey and development together
This is CP marketing - it happens in a lot of dramas to create hype Ignore rumors that a couple is dating unless…
You do not know that for sure, this is your speculation. I'm not saying they are dating but this is not factual to assume it was deliberate for marketing. But I do agree with you that CP marketing exists and flirting doesn't mean they're dating
I might drop this if I don't warm up to it in a few episodes. The changes they've made so far to the story are…
I'm a big fan of the novel so i understand hoping the next couple eps turn around for you. I saw videos where the author JLFX talked about working on the changes so maybe they will work out afterall
i've been frustrated with how they've written her almost the entire drama
Definitely made sense for the writers to make him sympathetic but I think they overlooked her too much. It's hard for the audience to root for the romance if they pity him and hate her.
That beginning part with the kneeling in the cold was straight from the book but I think it wasn't quite portrayed in a logical way. I think she was not supposed to make sudden changes so that people wouldn't suspect she wasn't YXW. Also in the drama she was supposed to be suffering from PTSD after *just* watching her family and sect get slaughtered. The script offered bits and pieces of this but did not really communicate it consistently. It was hard to make sense of her because her behavior was inconsistent, sometimes she made sudden changes from YXW's previous behaviors and sometimes she did not look all that shaken up in between the time travel and his punishments
this looks gorgeous! they spent nearly 10 million yuan per episode
