Thank you. I watched a bit of Princess Royal and will watch more this time. I like Song Yi and enjoyed Destined and Follow Your Heart and Heroic Husband. Destined showed that she can be a leader.
I guess to become a general, if either said, "Let's do something." Something out of the ordinary, would you follow her? If someone like Dilraba said it, I'd follow because she has charisma. Boey Cecilia because she can show intelligence and authority as seen in The Trust. (Angel Zhao was the same.) Or perhaps Crystal Zhang who can be one of the guys like in Fighting for Love. But I think that the three are neither petite nor youthful enough to portray He Yan.

nolatoo. Good picks. Zhang Yue Nan impressed me in My Uncanny Destiny. Wu Jin Yan was good in Kill Me Love Me and the Double. I like Angel Zhao and Song Yi but haven't seen them in a leader role yet. Same with Deng En Xi, so cannot make a comment. Thank you

I'm not familiar with any of Crystal Liu's dramas but know Zhou Yu Tong and think that she has the presence to be a leader. I found out that I saw Sun Qian in A Robot in the Orange Orchard. Interesting. I liked Zheng He Hui Zi in In Blossom and Ugly Beauty but didn't make the connection in Wonderland of Love. I wouldn't mind if she got a drama with the director and writer team from A Familiar Stranger. Haven't seen Sun Zhenni, but peeked at Till the End of the Moon. Didn't see her in the first 3 episodes. In ep. 4 He Yan rode back to camp riding pillion with Xiao Jue When He Yan fell asleep against Xiao Jue's back, he realized that she was a woman.

I don't complain, but there are only two cdramas running right now that am watching. Alas.

You are right the implication of Fei Nu taking names at the notice boards. And leaving the bodies uncovered supports that he intended to use them. But He Na's nudging may forced his hands or provided an unplanned opening. Otherwise, why the comment about earlier or later.

Xiao Jue and Chu Zhao seems cut from the same cloth as seen in ep. 10 upon discovering the women's bodies. The difference is that He Yan provides a better moral compass than Ying Xian who is merely a blade.

QVV has a number of hour and a half to almost two hour videos on youtube. The names can be confusing as multiple translations of the same person. Possibly there are a few micro scenes that might not have appeared in the drama. There is a scene where she is sitting on a roof in Chu while people are talking about her.
I've watched a few of the youtube episodes and played every one to support the drama.

The Wanted Detective and The Legend of the Female General are alike like apples and oranges are alike. The two are different in tone. In TLOTFG the FL is more light-hearted. The FL in The Wanted Detective is more serious. I should have said "like apple and oranges are alike." My bad.

I broke down and watched the IQIYI episode 21 and 22 previews.

Seems like ep. 21. The old doc says Xueman is the antidote. After Beiming was cured by him and is resting at the Pingyuan Escort Agency mansion, either Xueman was kept behind or went back to arrest him.

Has to be a step behind or he would be the ML. He is stuck with the Javert or Gerard role.
