I don’t see Hee Soo as dumb. Naive & messy for sure lol. But she’s like Lee In playing chess. Now that she gotten into the court, she has to play it like everyone else. She noticed that Lee In had people tailed her that night. She also knew that Myung Ha forged that fake report against Lee In. She knew how to appease the Queen Dowager & Lee In without getting the Queen hurt in the process. Granted Lee In had already caught on what she was doing. Although she is only seeing things through a small scope since she doesn’t have all the details, she would need to be extra careful.

Lee In is an intriguing character. Most of the time, kings in historical dramas aren’t presented with the same nuance detailed qualities (the intelligence & commanding presence) like Lee In so it’s really fun to watch him!

Lee In referring to himself. Losing Mong Woo thinking he died must’ve tore Lee In inside those 3yrs. I love all the conversations/baduk scenes of Lee In & Mong Woo. I hope there is more scene of them playing baduk.

Court Dong is not going to like Mong Woo very much lol. She is definitely someone to watch out for. Guard Sanghwa notices that Lee In headspace is preoccupied with Mong Woo lol.

I’m still curious about Hee Soo’s revenge plan & her end goal. I’m glad she’s realized Myung Ha forging that fake report. Seems like she’ll be using Myung Ha lol. Also that hug scene at the end. Lee In is foaming with JEALOUSY lol. He can no longer deny his feelings that’s for sure lol.

The scene when Lady Dong read the scroll of possible candidates of for the next baduk instructor, Lee In quickly perked up when she said Kang Mong Woo & told Lady Dong to say the name again again. Lady Dong now wonders about his peculiar manner.

Lee In could have waited until the baduk selection process ended but he went immediately to watched to see if Kang Mong Woo was the person he's been sea rching for. He even counted the baduk pieces infront of Mong Woo when he didn't need to lol.

Mong Woo is the only person that can get a visceral reaction out of Lee In lol.

His mom is probably thinking why is my son so obsessed with this Mong Woo man lol.

I also think she’s cautious about him befriending a criminal who testify against him again.

Jong Jung Seok mentions that Lee In & Mong Woo love story is this lol. It’s a ‘I hate you but love you’ kind of way lol. Just like the quote about being captivated. “To wish for life when you love them and to wish for death when you hate them”

I’m saying that Lee In is mad at Mong Woo but it is obvious that Lee In misses him dearly since they haven’t seen eachother in 3 years.

Her eyes were definitely teary 🥲the intensity in his voice & anger probably scared her lol. But yes, I want to see fire in her eyes! But I really love the baduk scene of them when Lee In was counting the pieces. She kept her cool there.
