I don’t think Lee In knows that Mong Woo is a woman. He’s still remembers her as Mong Woo, the friend he played baduk with during the rain & the terrible fallout they had. Lee In is definitely attracted to Mong Woo (romantically) I think he’s also aware of his feelings towards Mong Woo? But back then it would be seen as a blasphemy for a man to be attracted to a man. The scene when Lee In told Mong Woo to lift his head so he could see his face with the music playing in the back. The yearning in his eyes. I love that scene!! I love how the baduk game represents both Lee In & Mong Woo/Hee Soo attitude & feelings towards each other. They are both conflicted but the feelings are there. It’s going to an be constant battle between them. The end scene of them in the room together. Lee In telling Mong Woo he remembers everything about him. The tension & Jo Jung Seok acting is too good!

It seems like Lee In did in fact had a search party to look for Mong Woo since his Guard was there that night. I think the Queen Dowager is aware of Lee In’s feeling towards Mong Woo. I don’t think the she will be fond of Mong Woo. I think the reason Lee In doesn’t have a kid yet is because he probably wants Prince Royal to ascend but the Queen Dowager might assume that Lee In has feelings for a man?

Will Myung Ha tell HeeSoo that he forged a false report against Jin Han? The conflict between Lee In & Mong Woo started at this point lol. But it seems like HeeSoo does not know. And Myung Ha hates Lee In so he probably won’t tell her 😒

I'm loving Jo Jung Seok performance. He's portraying Lee In very well. The switch between emotional-easy going to repressed with an unhinged side. One of the trailer, Lee In says that he himself must be crazy lol. I'm curious if the show is heading towards the route of him spiraling into deeper madness.

Yes, he is cunningly swift.
He’s shown to be strategic & has great physicality - good with sword, archery, & horse riding. He’s competent unlike King Lee Seon, his brother.
