Same here, call us superficial but good looks is very important in BL story. Second, is of course the acting. I'm not a big fan of Haruta's looks in OL, but since I totally love Maki, I still can ignore that :) CM is a very rare gem where it ticks all the boxes, good look, great acting, amazing chemistry, good story and directing.

At this rate, 10K is quite easy target lol. True, I've seen very few negative comments here, even if there is we still can have civilized discussion. I took a peek at other comments section for a "BL-adaptation" drama, it's really scary. A negative or less favorable comment will be immediately attacked and they will scrutinize the user's profile and watchlist @_@ Geez, I wouldn't dare to leave a comment there..

A recent interview with Akaso where he talked about Machida and some scenes in the drama. Akaso really admires and respects Machida, he always thinks that Machida is the "real Kurosawa" and that impression hasn't changed. He thinks Machida is wonderful, not only as an actor but also as a person and he wants to be a person like him. He enjoys the time with Machida and often plays "pretend to be Kurosawa-Adachi" (what? xD). Akaso also said that thanks to Machida, he can feel the connection with Adachi and able to get into Adachi's role naturally.
It's really good to see these two people have a very good relationship :)

Akaso's CM is very sweet! I love Japanese CM, they often have touching messages. I hope both of them will have more CM endorsements in the future.

Totally agree with you, as long as we love it, rating and other things don't really matter. People still come and fall in love with this drama regardless of the rating. Thanks for the info though!
