I'm really curious how the algorithm works, trying to compare with other BL that got 8.4 point, which difference is not much with CM 8.7. Based on the % of each score, actually there is quite a lot of difference, for example, 52% viewers gave 10 point for CM while only 42% for the other drama. 11% of viewers gave 8 and 8.5 point for CM, while the other drama percentage is 16% and so on. The other drama also got 4,5 and 6 point while CM doesn't have. From that comparison alone, how come the final rating doesn't differ much, only 0.3 point difference? I think it's really strange..

This drama has given people a lot of comfort and joy in many different ways, especially during this tough time. That what makes it a precious one. Thanks for sharing your story :)

Onozuka Hayato, Machida's junior in Gekidan Exile and a good friend of Akaso was recently interviewed and was asked if he watched Cherry Maho. He said he watched it all, and feels that his senpai and his friend have good feelings with each other. He even seriously thinks "why don't these two just date already!" (lol, Onozuka-kun, did you really say that?? XD). He also joked that next time he meets with Akaso, he will be careful not to be touched by him since he's afraid Akaso can read his mind.

A fan asked Akaso (probably during his photobook launch) what shampoo he uses. Akaso said he uses COTA no. 7 and the fan also said she uses the same and the smell is very nice. FYI, Cota no 7 is fruity rose scent, no wonder Kurosawa is so tempted. Someone can go tell Kurosawa so he won't be searching at the supermarket any longer :D

As much as I love CM, I think there are many people who don't feel comfortable to give out personal information to a review site (not even an official one), including myself. I don't really take MDL rating seriously from the beginning, so to be honest it doesn't really matter to me. And I just feel that it's some kind of tricks to get user's personal information, god knows what they are going to do what that. So, I apologize first, but I will support CM in many other ways :)

That's good to hear! Weibo could be a bloodbath scene sometimes.. it's good to see CM fandoms everywhere are very nice and peaceful, and hopefully doesn't attract haters or toxic fans.

Chinese fans level of dedication is indeed another level. They would microscoped all details and found interesting stuffs. I even saw they plan to have some kind of screening gathering in some cities, that's awesome! I don't follow Weibo but hopefully this fandom is still peaceful there, since some very ugly stuffs could happen there.

I would say even if there is free fansubbed video, if you can and have access to WeTV, please do subscribe to VIP to support this this drama legally. You can access the whole episodes and watch the latest one soon after it is aired in Japan so it's quite worth it.

Amazon JP has both Machida and Akaso's photobook, but they don't ship overseas for Akaso's. Machida's is also available from CD Japan (cdjapan.co.jp) and they ship overseas.

I don't care about MDL rating anymore, they are already unreliable anyway. Whatever the rating, it doesn't affect my love for this drama :)

BIG thanks to RondomUsagi-san for compiling materials related to CM in the Discussion Forum above. Everyone is recommended to take a look since it has a lot of interesting stuffs. If I find time, I will also try to do some summary/highlights of some videos and put it the same thread. By no means it is 100% accurate but I'll try my best to get the points. Everyone also please feel free to contribute.

I think it's a very good BL drama, good production, good story and directing. I really like Shirasu Jin's acting, he is very natural and good at expressing the emotions, not to mention very good looking also. But I find the actor playing Yuuki is rather stiff, at least not as good as Shirasu, and that's what makes this drama rather lacking. And I couldn't get past his weird hairstyle, I mean, he works as salaryman, is that kind of punk hairstyle acceptable? And when he gets older his hairstyle also stays the same... oh well.

Personally I wouldn't take it seriously, it just doesn't make sense to accept a role in BL drama when he's prohibited to do MM kiss. Most of JP BL will have a kiss scene, so it's kinda inevitable. Popular actors in Ossan's Love also did kiss scene more than once. And the original post said "he/she heard it from his/her sister" (?? how accurate could it be?). Well, even if it's true, at this moment I'll still be content with their sweet life together :)
