Another drama I can't watch. For some reason watching an underage person being romantic with a grown up is so weird to me even though the underage person is supposed to be playing an older character, it doesn't help that the grown up is up to 10 years older. I just can't remove the image from my head when I'm watching it. You don't know how many dramas I've missed because of this.
What's with the hostility in the comments, y'all watch dramas where people are dropped like flies and have no problem with them but adultery is somehow so much worse than murder? I haven't watched the drama yet so I don't know exactly what happens but I hope people can remember that THIS IS A DRAMA not real life, treat it like all those other dramas with themes that are immoral and say after me: IT IS JUST A DRAMA
Yay Panda, Marathoned the whole episodes in less than a day. There were lots of funny moments and the puns and wordplays were out of this world. It was very psychological and teaches us a lot about the human mind. The friendship was refreshing; the 4 of them and in extension all 8 of them had great chemistry, the pajama parties were the most fun "say it isn't so, Joe", the friendship between the 4 of them was definitely the best part of the drama. It had lots of plot twists. The romance was kinda mehh, seems like only O-chan and kairi delivered on the romance, for me. If there was one negative thing, it's annoying characters, almost half of the Love-sha team were annoying; Mei, Yukichi and especially Usa-tan. Mei's indecisive nature was so annoying to watch, Yukichi was just annoying no explanations needed and Usa-tan with his whiny-caricature-over-the-top-one-track-minded character was just too much for me to handle but he did get better towards the end. Airu was the true definition of a strong woman, able to speak for herself and knows what she wants while still maintaining some sensitivity, O-chan and Kiku-rin were just so much fun to watch, O-chan's character development was interesting and Kiku-run was just such a complex character. Overall it was a fun drama. 9.0/10
Loved it, the leads were very cute with awesome chemistry right from the very first scene, I just wish their love was explored more, there were too much unnecessary things in the last 3 eps, I enjoyed it regardless. It wasn't especially exciting and the story wasn't ground breaking or anything but I just couldn't stop once I started, I watched the whole thing in one seating plus the kiss scene was to die for so that's a bonus. 9.5/10
This really shows the bad side of the internet, humans are mostly a bunch of fickle.bandwagoners. Tbh leaving an unconscious woman in an unlocked car in an open parking lot was such a b*tchy thing to do, especially in our dangerous times. Also being a sasaeng fan is just as bad I don't know if she was just lacking common sense or was just an evil person deep down, the musician probably lost his career thanks to her not being able to handle her excitement.
Also since they only showed from the perspective of Shirono it's also possible that the dead girl wasn't really that bad. I mean the boyfriend never said it was her he was going out with, it's possible she was also a fan of the band even before seeing the broken mug; or that she had bought that cloth before the other woman; or that she was genuinely going to give the ticket to Shirono but changed her mind since she was feeling better; or that she really was close to the band member but of course he's not gonna confirm it since he has crazy fans. I don't know, I just think Shirono misunderstood her...or not.
I've never cried so much for a drama, I'm not talking about just shedding tears but full blown crying with the snot and sobbing and loud noises, I gave myself a headache. Seriously we should all be grateful that we're able be alive, to walk, write, speak, etc, all these things that we take for granted, I thought I had problems but this is another level. Aya was such a grown up about things even though her life was hard, I guess these kinds of things forces you to grow up
ive heard theres a kdrama remake of this. although kdrama version got bad reviews, i would still prefer it from…
Since you put it like that then yeah, it seems kdramas tend to pass the test often. Now that I think about it, jdramas tend to have less female friendships or maybe I've not watched enough to see...

Ahhhh so that's the reason; but really things like that shouldn't bother you, as long as these things aren't still happening and people aren't still being raped and tortured by them it really shouldn't bother you, if these things of the past still bothered me now I'd probably hate the Americas for making black people their slaves even though none of the slave owners are still alive, or the British for colonizing and exploiting almost all the countries in the world but these things belong to history books, I hope you'd be able to move on from your distaste(?) someday

Lol, How am I supposed to remember all the things the women talked about in dramas, I quickly delete unimportant shit from my memory. But it's a simple thing, if there is a love square the 2 women involved almost always have nothing to talk about except the main guy unless they are/were friends then they can talk about other stuff, if there's no love square then sometimes they talk about men other times not so of course a cop drama should pass the test; this is regardless of the drama origin, it's just the rule of dramaland.
Tbh I don't know what kind of jdramas you watch but unless it's those ''slice of life'' high school dramas, I don't see how most of them fail the test.
Just finished watching this, it was definitely interesting and kept me guessing and coming back for more but if I have a few complaints; Why use cancer trope to spoil such a good drama? Why didn't Nishisazi-san get the flowers earlier so he'll arrive on time or better yet order them so he'll just have to pick them up? for a plan that was depending on the flowers it was stupid thing to do, Why the f*ck would Ando-kun lock the doors to see who she'll call? such a stupid thing to do, Why did Nozomi-chan reveal the plan to the guy?

Are you replying to me??? From what I see we're kinda agreeing, so...
EDIT: I agree with you about a few things. From what I've seen jdramas usually have a lot more variety than kdramas, if you're looking for a great/epic romance, comedy, supernatural/sci-fi, melodrama search in kdrama, if you're looking for life (romance, friendship, tragedy, death, greed, taboo, family), psychological, thriller, mystery, melodrama, search in jdramas, I haven't watched a lot of jdramas but they always get me crying even in things that weren't that sad. Of course that doesn't mean that kdramas don't have all these many genres or that jdramas don't have romance, it just means that it's less varied. There isn't one that I prefer over the other it just depends on my mood on that particular day.
I'm gonna disagree on the Bechdal test thing (first time hearing it, you learn something new everyday), I think jdramas definitely have that problem but it seems the same with kdramas

If you base your dislike of a drama on it's country of origin you might as well hate all dramas because all countries have got their own 'bad history'.
Anyways, anyone who watches the kdrama version and this one and then says the kdrama one is better is either a delusional person or they're lying ,that's how bad the Korean version is. I've only started watching Jdramas a few weeks ago and one thing I've noticed is that they're on a different league from kdramas when it comes to the 'feels'
I'm curious where did you hear of this so called 'bad reputation' is it a recent thing or what?
