This main comment section would be a lot friendlier and (IMO) more enjoyable, especially for the newbies and neutrals,…
I agree 100%, but there's always that one individual with the same old "people who like bad boys tend to be in abusive relationships" baloney, so it's really hard to just stay silent.
LOLNo, really. LOLOLOLOLYou're definitely not the only one. We could probably fill up several stadiums. Or a neighborhood.…
Exactly. And the initial "abuse" part, which is something that people understandably but erroneously frown upon, was in the context of her being in a male body, sneaking on enemy camp, and throwing poison at a high ranking officer during a war. It wasn't a husband and wife spat that ended with physical violence. That's something that completely goes over people's heads. The drama also did a disservice to him in several scenes, 'cause God forbid the essence of the novel is retained in its entirety. He may seem like a bad boy because he has no time for silly shenanigans and empty promises. He successfully does what he sets out to do, including making sure that the infamous happy ending can happen. What a villain, so toxic. 🙄

Yes, all of them are flawed. ALL of them, including the green flag Good Guy™ fox dude.
But yes. It is sad. And what's sadder is that people think he's some paragon of virtue because he chooses not to fight back. In a time where that Good Guy™ approach was dangerous. It put others at risk and hurt the ones closest to him. Including his beloved. Especially his beloved. But doing nothing and choosing to be a good guy through it all is somehow his strongest trait. His weakness is not weakness, it's strength and his kindness is akin to sainthood. That's all so unrealistic that it makes a 9-headed-serpent demon look like an average Joe, going to work every day 'cause life is hard and if you do nothing there's nothing others will do for you. But sure, he's the bad one. Saving people's lives and asking for nothing in return. What's worse, making people believe he's some kind of monster when he's not.
Don't even get me started on that evil Grandma thing. The others are literally fighting wars and somehow the family drama is too much to be dealt with. Spare me this nonsense.
He's better. The latter part of this article talks about his recovery.https://mydramalist.com/article/lee-je-hoon-donates-to-the-beautiful-foundation-updates-on-health
I am not going to open the spoiler boxes but please tell me I’m not a 🤡 for predicting a HE😂😂😂
Happy endings are now the stuff of legends. I'm yet to watch something other than Love Between Fairy and Devil that doesn't make me want to go straight to therapy. It's getting boring now. Can we turn down the sadness for a bit? The world is already too sad for all this nonsense.
So which part of her comment is downplaying or erasing anything? Or denying anything? And who is y’all?
🧐

LOL rant over. Glad you see this too.

You're definitely not the only one. We could probably fill up several stadiums. Or a neighborhood. Or a small town.
But if you're already at episode 24, I'm sure you can see that abusive is not exactly what he is. Keep watching some more. And welcome to the team :)
