1. Fumi is a pedo But he didn’t act on his desire - okay great. But the fact that he’s grooming her that even 15 years later she’s obsessed with him. That’s still grooming, that’s still morally wrong. The disinterest he has in his adult gf , he’s only interested in the girl he grooms, that’s disgusting The fact that the film seems to champion a woman and her groomer being together is such a red flag.

this is such a homophobic show. Plangton tells Om everything. The first person Plangton tells that he's a merman is Om. Plangton spends more much time with Om than Ploysai. Om and Plangton investigate the case together; they have common interests. Plangton and Ploysai have nothing in common, not sure why they are in love. Plangton fulfils his promise by seeing Om one last time before he leaves, and he doesn't want to see Ploysai before he leaves. Plangton and Om are so much closer than Plangton and Ploysai, and yet the straight couple are together??? Where is the logic except that the show is homophobic?
