I'm just so happy for tonight's episode because we are finally seeing a wedding scene π I don't know about you all but from the recent cdramas I've watched this year, I am finally seeing the lead's wedding. And I have watched the teaser multiple times lol CXZ face during wedding is like saying "Y'all I'm finally getting married!!" π Hope they drop the express soon (they will have it, right?)
Gosh I love CXZ wittiness!!! His words are romantic and witty lol I love his speech outside LMT's room!! I love this 2 eps for both of them BUT the teaser?!!! I just want peace & happiness for Xueji but this drama....whyyyyy
I'm sorry if I didn't get this drama. I dropped this on 26th ep bc during the time it was airing, I was really not fond of too much romance in S1 and I couldn't feel the ML as the ML (I know the FL is with another guy, that's not my point) but there were too many scenes between FL, 2ML and 3ML than scenes for ML. During that time I was looking forward more towards ML getting his political power with the help of FL. Can I watch the S2 without the S1 or I need to rewatch everything? Does S1 ending more on political or it's still solely on the romance of FL? Again, I'm not saying this is a bad drama but just not my cup of tea when it was aired so I can still try to rewatch it if it's needed for S2
I started watching this show w/o reading most of the comments but only those about how they view the show if it's worth watching. Now, I have reached ep 24 and I don't see why we argue whose feelings were invalidated, ML or FL. Both are understable cases. Before watching this drama, the plot already tells that FL mistakes ML as her husband. Therefore, he will pretend. And pretending includes lying and manipulation. Bring that together with ML sees FL as enemy's concubine, of course, he will be very cautious. But he did treat her fine as a fake wife. FL has every right to get angry for being lied to, they both decided to call it quits but we all know they both develop feelings on top of those lies and deception. I'm just waiting for them to reach whatever they want to do and to eventually find themselves together again. Anyway, if someone finds this comment looking to know if it's okay to watch then in my own opinion, it is βΊοΈ
I wanted to watch a lighthearted drama this time and I've been putting this on my watch list for a while. I loved it! I'm so glad I watched it. The beginning just kind of throw me off a bit but nonetheless worth watching! They should have prepared or let Man'er do therapy after that lol I enjoyed it
To me many of these sad things happened because of Prince Lang Ya. He refuses to see his brother for who he really…
Yeah, and it did start because of WJ. He could have let YDZ take WJ away. If WJ and YDZ were together, YDZ wouldn't be forced to be like that (ofc the other things like death of the innocents are all his when he chose that path). In the end, WJ being married to Roujin didn't even matter? They said they needed WJ for like the alliance between Shadow Sect and the Royals. And even if there is no marriage between them, Shadow Sect will still work for the emperor. I don't know why they put such plot in the first place bc the throne was passed to Langya anyway and his other brother committed treason so even without WJ, these things will still happen and he could have still pass the throne to his brother. Everyone would have been happy and in peace except for Beique
BDJ cared for YDZ more than Wen Jun. Sikong respected YDZ more than Wen Jun.Mr Li believed in YDZ more than Wen…
Yeah that's why Wang Yi Xing also said he shouldn't have brought YDZ inside that garden when they were attacked, because that's when YDZ knew where WJ is and found that she wanted out of the palace
Finally, done! In my opinion, I'm already glad for the ending considering TBOY viewers know what's to happen with BDJ but just sad they could have shown the marriage. I'm also heartbroken with YDZ's death π Well, we could agree that most of us do blame WJ for all the mess lol so I'm glad BDJ did say it. Imagine her character was so small in TBOY but it's all because of her that all big events in DY happened. Anyway, just noticed they made it like Yue Qing died in the narrative but in the novel based on some readers here, she should have been alive in the time between DY and TBOY because she would be a variable of why BDJ is like that in TBOY. If the writer changed this, they should have given a much more happy ending to our leads lol or they could have shown Wujie and Qianlou. But all in all, I must say I did enjoy this. There is a lot of timeline mess considering TBOY is already present as a reference but it still enjoyable, somewhat interesting because I like seeing the connection of DY and TBOY. As DY alone, I just felt short on YY character showcase. She just tagged along BDJ all throughout. I guess that's a problem when there's a lot of characters and limited episodes but the main plot which was discussed several times in TBOY is still there so for me, it was okay. Fighting scenes weren't that much, it was mostly auras/effects which was great to see as I'm not a super fan of long fights anyway but we could have seen more. Lots of screentime for YDZ tho. I know since he became like the villain here, the end would really focus on him. It's just that we could have seen more of BDJ and most especially SKCF. His screentime weren't that much even for support.
Oh and also Prince Langya. Hmm. This one is a bit...I know he wanted to give the throne to his brother and save the world but it felt like he could have done more for the people instead of "for his brother". This was a little bit opposing towards how his character was discussed in TBOY. XRF knew it was their family's fault that YDZ suffered but it was like he is justfying that they can sacrifice someone else's happiness until the end so the Royals can stay stable. In the end, he was still more on the power than public. XRF is smart and he did really care about justice, just not the justice that would shake the throne. See, it was weird they have included clearing the Ye's family name only when everything and everyone in Ye family is dead. Who are they appeasing then? Just my cents tho lol in the end I still enjoyed the drama. Will wait for TBOY S2 but won't be expecting much bc I always don't expect much on prequels or sequels. Now onto a next dramaaa
who is the son/daughter of Baili Dong Jun in Blood of youth? I am having a bad time figuring whose son/daughter…
He doesn't have any child. I'm using app but there might be list of relationships in Discussion
But here is afaik the parent - child relationships in DY and TBOY: Lei Mengsha & Li Xinyue - Li Hanyi & Lei Wujie Sikong Changfeng - Sikong Qianlou Ye Dingzhi & Yi Wenjun - Wuxin/Ye Anshi Xiao Roujin & Yi Wenjun - Xiao Yu Xiao Roujin - Xiao Chong, Xiao Jing Xia & Xiao Chuhe/Xiao Se Xiao Roufeng - Xiao Ling Chen Ye Xiao Ying - Ye Rou Yi Ji Roufeng - Ji Xue
I've been watching this (37 now) and have also rewatched TBOY but it just suddenly occured to me, White Haired Deity Qi Xuan is different from White Haired Deity Mo Qishi, right?
This is a bit weird take. Viewers/readers of DY and TBOY knew Mo Yi is one of the most powerful. Just because…
And gosh, stop liking your own comments. What are you? Narcissist? Your comment was just posted a minute ago and there was already a like. Come on, who will believe your shit?
This is a bit weird take. Viewers/readers of DY and TBOY knew Mo Yi is one of the most powerful. Just because…
That's why I said if you were so adamant for Mo Yi to be the lead then create your own? Find your investors, producers and viewers who share the same views as you. Why are you hating on someone else's story that is NOT FIT TO YOUR LIKING. You can move on, stop watching and live your life. You're calling me brainless when you can't even speak proper grammar. "You're brainless" not "your brainless"
The title was Dashing Youth. The writer wants to create a story surrounding aspiring and carefree young martial artists who wants to showcase their talents to the world. But you want Mo Yi, a martial artist living in seclusion become the center of the story instead? Then it's either the writer just gave all Mo Yi's power to Dongjun or Mo Yi has Dongjun or Changfeng personality and aspirations so as to still keep the main theme of the drama. MAIN THEME. And so you can keep your mouth shut because you wanted "the most powerful underdog" became the lead.
I can't believe there are people like you who will keep watching shows you clearly dislike just to show hatred on them. Like, what's the point? Just bored or tired of life? Ahh. You must be sick just like how you kept repeating those lines π
this story should be Mo Yi story instead of baili and ye as male lead. Mo Yi develop his skill training fighting…
This is a bit weird take. Viewers/readers of DY and TBOY knew Mo Yi is one of the most powerful. Just because he is one of the most powerful, doesn't mean he needs to be the ML? The writer created his character. If writer wants Mo Yi to be lead then this would have been a different drama. Or maybe if you were so adamant to have him as lead, then create your own drama than call a published story characters unimportant just bc you don't like it
As a prequel to TBOY, DY writer seems to make some errors when it comes to number. Ages, number of sons, ranking…
I know!! I tried to ignore them but it keeps popping out lol and since I just recently rewatched TBOY, it's so hard to miss some misalignments but it's okay. I still enjoy watching! Can't wait for the remaining episodes
