It had its ups and downs, some episodes I enjoyed more than others and overall it was not an amazing drama and…
- There was never, at any moment, a love triangle. The main leads liked each other and the second male lead liked the second female lead and so did she.
- The whole character of Veronica Park managed to stay away from a lot of clichés. Although at first it looked like she would be this annoying mean character that might make things more complicated, this actually did not happen. Why?
1st - Because she liked the second male lead instead of the male lead and since the second male lead liked her too she had no reason to be jealous of the female lead. (one cliché avoided) 2nd - She actually became kind of best friends with the female lead, relying on her at times and giving good advice to her at others. She even played a big role in making the male lead forgive the female lead for lying to him. (another cliché avoided) 3rd - There are for sure more aspects to her character that stayed away from clichés but these 2 are the main ones.
- The ending was not really that interesting and I felt that the last few episodes were a little dragged BUT I liked that they kept it realistic by not making the male lead suddenly be cured by the power of love or something or by making him get a high risk surgery that is in experimental phase in some foreign country (I swear I though they would do this here too). At the end he still cannot see faces, but in those rare and short moments when he is able to see them, he runs to wherever the female lead is just so he can see HER face. (quite romantic if you ask me)
So yeah, this was far from perfect. The writers made the plot as if they saw both the male lead and us viewers as being quite dumb, especially in the beginning. But the things mentioned above still made this worth watching at least one time.
It had its ups and downs, some episodes I enjoyed more than others and overall it was not an amazing drama and it was nothing new really, it used a lot of clichés BUT it managed to be different in some aspects that I will spoil below:
The whole Abyss thing was kind of messy and needed more thought into it, but since I liked the cast and the romance was good enough for my standards, I was able to more or less ignore it’s faults.
Seems so weird ..sounds like it'll be an odd one but I hope it gets subbed!
It is already subbed, 14/15 episodes are subbed and the last one should be uploaded today or tomorrow. I have just finished watching it, watched the last episode raw because I wanted to get it over with. I personally did not like it, I might have even hated it. I felt like slapping some sense in a lot of characters, the second female lead made my stomach turn everytime she appeared and spoilers aside, I am going to add a tragedy tag up there. Seriously, the synopsis made it seem weird but possibly interesting yet the actual thing was pretty bad.
If you still want to watch it, search for ohsweethaven on google and it will show you a a fansub website and this should be in the current projects, unless the last episode gets subbed before you read this, then it should appear in the completed page at the bottom of the page.
I came across this one several times and every one of them I ignored it. For one, it is not my kind of drama... and then there is the Tragedy tag. Yet, having nothing better to watch, I decided to give this a try not expecting anything. I knew I wouldn’t be getting any sweet romance considering the plot, but somehow I did not feel bored watching this. So I kept watching it. And it ended more or less as I expected but it still messed with my emotions a little bit. I felt angry at a lot of the characters, not only the female lead. In fact, most people around her, except for her "best friend" and "boyfriend", were not much better. Well, there is someone else, one of the men she fooled, but I cant say more or it would be a spoiler.
What was interesting too is that she was not downright evil or anything, although obviously not a good person either. Her biggest fault was her greediness. She was not able to appreciate what she had and wanted more, but you know how it goes...the more you want, the more you lose. And that is kind of the moral of the story. Don’t be greedy. Value yourself and the people who love you. Money has zero value compared to that.
And damn, I still could not avoid feeling bad for her even if she was the one who jumped into that hole. The last episode really left a bitter taste in my mouth and I could not stop a few tears from dropping.
I actually found it boring?? I guess it doesnt help I cannot take the whole reincarnation and ghosts thing seriously. I usually stay away from thai dramas that focus on these themes exactly for that reason, even if they are pretty common. But this one was a remake in which the male lead was made to be better than the original one and I like both actors and usually enjoy stories about "true love"... so I ended up watching it anyway. Yet I found this to be quite boring and enjoyed the last 20 minutes of the last episode more than the entire story until that point. I wish they had made the 3rd part longer than just half (not even half) of the last episode.
Yup, wish I had read your comment, and believed your words before I watched it. To be honest, even if I read it,…
Yeah. I usually still finish them because I hate leaving things unfinished if I took the effort to watch more than just the 1st episode hoping it would get better. But some of those times I legit skip 90% of the scenes and what should have taken me like 40 hours to watch, I watch in less than 3 hours. XD
Yup, wish I had read your comment, and believed your words before I watched it. To be honest, even if I read it,…
Lol, actually the beginning is the best part, from the middle to the end it just gets worse. I liked some things but I hated others, one of them being the male lead offering marriage to any woman at any time for reasons as strong as responsibility or guilty to just wanting to anger the female lead. They had a good plot to work with but somehow managed to waste it, even tho they had 40 episodes to do something interesting with it...yet they decided to use a lot of annoying clichés, rush the ending and leave a lot of things unexplained.
I wish I could have enjoyed it more but the male lead’s "blindness" to peoples true characters lasted for way too long. And the ending was far from satisfying, rushed, and actually felt incomplete.
I think there were many unresolved issues and I really feel like I wasted my time watching this drama. I just…
Yup, wish I had read your comment, and believed your words before I watched it. To be honest, even if I read it, I would probably still go and watch it but yeah, it was a waste of time. They had an interesting plot but messed up.
I had this set as not interested but since I had nothing to watch, I decided to give this a try anyway. I should have trusted my gut when I decided to not watch it.
At first it was interesting, I even thought that I was dumb to not want to watch this. But then I just got tired of the way the plot was going and the characters behaviour. I could see where things were going several episodes before the events. It just used so many of those annoying clichés in lakorns. Although the male lead might not be as bad as some I have watched, he still messed up A LOT. And someone always got hurt. And he just made his hate and desire for revenge spread to other people like it was a disease and sooner or later, the things he did and said without giving it a second thought came back to bite him, and in the worst way possible. In a way that hurt him, the person he loved and .... cant say it or it would be a huge spoiler.
But anyway, with so much going on, not things that I really wanted to be going on, at the end I just felt nothing. I kept watching thinking it cant get worse, something good has to happen, they cant use that cliché that I hate so much....but it never went my way. And this is 40 episodes long too. What a waste of my time. The story had everything to be interesting, and it was, at first, and then they had to ruin it. Sigh
I kind ignored this one because of the low rating and the trailer which honestly just makes it look like a bunch of people playing with guns and grenades and stuff. But I am sure there is more to it so I will give it a try anyway and will come back later to share my thoughts.
They only uploaded 1 episode and half of the 2nd episode tho. The rest of the episodes are most likely only available through their fb group but they take some time to review the requests so I am still waiting to get approved. :(
That's my question because from part 1 they've only had eyes for each other so Im like/???Is she his daughter…
Ok, so he is not unfaithful but he does let himself get into situations that makes him look like he his and of course there are always clips of these moments that show up in the female leads phone and although she believes in him at first, that he would not cheat on her, because he keeps lying to her about not have seen the girl that day and stuff like that, the female lead keeps getting hurt and starts doubting if he is really being faithful or not.
At some point they catch up that this is all a plan to split them up and they never fully fall for it since they do not split up but their relationship does get a lot of turbulence and he even mentions a divorce during an argument, of course he does not meant it, he is just stressed out about the whole situation. He does not want to lie to her but is afraid that she will get hurt or even stop loving him so he keeps hiding things that happen even if he is not actually cheating, without realising that by doing that he is only making everything worse.
I did feel several times tho that he felt attracted to the girl and of course she kept seducing him and even if he never actually fell for it, I kept having the impression he was borderline right there and did not like that feeling. Even his wife started to have the impression he loved the girl because of his behaviour. I was a little uncomfortable everytime those 2 were together and even I doubted if he was going to remain faithful or not. I hoped he would but sometimes it looked like he was about to fall into the trap. I know that he also didnt want to hurt the girl because she was traumatized, but still, I felt he fell for her a little bit since she gave that vibe of I need to be protected. She is beautiful too so that does not help. So yeah, he remains faithful physically, but not sure about his heart, I think he might have wavered at some point, and he knows it considering his body language during one of his arguments with his wife, which by the way ended in him raping her. Sigh
It is your decision. I think maybe give the first episode a try but if youre not good with horror, I would not watch it in the dark and while eating. The first episode was really weird for me but I kept watching since I am ok with scary things, although not my preference. I almost thought I was watching a different drama tho.
Maybe the writer or the director was different, but this second part definitely felt disconnected from the first part aside from having the same characters and plot.

Rated it 7.5/10
