Exactly. I am ok with a male lead that is a playboy at first. But if he decides to get into a serious relationship with the female lead, then he cant cheat on her, especially cheat again after he saw how hurt she was and promised not to do it again. That is so disgusting. I really cant understand why people liked it. It is almost like they just ignored the whole continued cheating part and only remembered the "sweet" moments and his sacrifice at the end.

About the rape part, it bothers me and there were only a few thai dramas that were able to make it less horrible. Either because the male lead was drugged or something or because he really regretted it after and did everything to redeem himself. When they do it and then act like it was no big deal and even put the blame on the female lead, I feel like breaking my computer screen. Grrr

Yeah, just not right away. She announced she will finish subbing another drama first and sub a drama that is currently airing and only then she will start this one. It shouldnt take more than a few months for her to start subbing this one tho.

I have good news and bad news for you. The good news is that this will definitely get subbed as it is one of nekomeowmeow projects. The bad news is that she has decided to finish subbing another drama that she had already started and a new drama that is airing right now before she starts subbing this one.

But just be patient because the subbing pace is pretty fast compared to most fansubs so in a few months this will probably be fully subbed.

I actually watched this twice by mistake. I am not sure if it was because when I watched it the first time I did not have a mdl account yet or if there was some kind of reset or something but this was set as if I have never watched it so I started watching and right in the first few minutes had the feeling I had already watched it, and that feeling only grew as I kept watching. But anyway, it had been years since the first time I watched it and I had nothing better to watch so I just continued.

This is long, with 30 episodes, and although the story is not bad, if you are looking for a lot of romance between the main leads, this might not be your cup of tea. Not that it isnt there but the main focus of the drama is the family, the parents story, "revenge" or more like just plain being evil, and so on. The relationship between the main leads is kind of in the background and they only END up together...well you can guess since I used caps.

Anyway, watch it but do not expect a lot of skinship, kisses or even the main leads being together all the time. There is much more happening in this drama. If that is good or bad, it depends on your mood at the time you watch.

Thank YOU. I feel so glad knowing there are more people out there who still have moral standards like me and have a hard time watching these plots even if its fiction. Unfortunately it happens in real life too, a lot. And Thailand seems to be a country with a lot of it since some men even have several wives, rape is not considered such a bad thing, and so on. The Thai culture has good things too, or I would not be watching Thai dramas, but the way a lot of women are treated is something that still bugs me.

Typical thai drama with playboy male lead that falls for the female lead at first sight because she is just his type but since she is not your average sweet and dumb female lead, they dont get along and argue a lot. Near the end he rapes her (another typical disgusting cliché) and she gets angry (obviously) so she starts to "hate" him while he asks for her forgiveness to get her back (but is he really regretting what he did? who knows, anyway, what matters is getting her back, right?).
The ending: he gets shot in her place so of course after that they get back together and have their happy ever after.

Conclusion: maybe you want to watch this and wish this was subbed, but the truth is you are not losing much, especially if you have already watched a lot of slap and kiss and/or hate plots with rape.

Yup. The handsome cowboy is a thai drama that unfortunately I will never forget. When I started watching it I thought it would be a sweet love story and when he cheated on her...several times...without regretting it and shamelessly promising he would not do it again and then cheat on her again...nope, I dropped it right there and to be honest, until this day it was the only drama I rated 1/10.

For that same reason, I hate cheating so much, especially when they are already married, I do not have the guts to watch this. I like the casting and I am sure they did a great performance here, but I just dont think I will be able to stomach it and watch it until the end.

I don’t know if you have watched it yet or not but for me, I saw the main characters in a better light in the first season. This one made me feel disappointed on both main characters, in the sense that I expected their love to have a stronger foundation. Also, for some reason I felt they did not have as much chemistry here compared to the first part, I dont know, I just would not put my hand on fire for their love.

What do you mean the actress is different from part 1?? It is the same actress. Unless you meant the character that she is playing. That you feel the personality is not the same or something. But the actress is definitely the same one.

Yup. HORRible would be the perfect word to describe that first episode. Lol
It did not get much better after and this is nowhere near the same level as the first part. I dont regret watching it, I think....but if I did not, I would not have regretted not watching it either.

In the end I did not feel their love had a strong foundation, and I am afraid that if they did not learn their lesson (if this was real of course) then in the future more problems would come. Unfortunately I could see them as an older married couple with grown up children, being just like Napa and Pope. Him falling for a younger "sweet" girl and cheating, and her going crazy with jealousy and revenge. I legit believe if they were crazy enough to make a 3rd season 20 years later, this would be the plot.

Ok. So it did not get as bad as I was afraid. He never actually cheated on her and they never split up, almost, but didn't. Still, this is just not worth it. I did not like the plot. It was not as interesting as the first season and it was definitely frustrating to watch. I also did not like that the male lead forced himself on her again. If it was not bad enough he had raped her once, he had to do it after they are married too. He could have just hugged her and tried to calm her down and talk when he took her back to the room, he did not have to force himself on her when she was in such a fragile state. And the ending was the typical thai cliché with guns, deaths, people going crazy, repenting, everyone is happy and everything is as if nothing ever happened.... I am sorry, but that is NOT how real life works, even in Thailand.

I could say so much more but I don’t think this is worth a detailed review. Watch it, don’t watch it. Its your decision. But if you decide to not watch it, you wont be losing anything really.

And this my friends, is how you completely ruin a drama. The first episode felt more like watching a horror movie than anything else, so if you dont feel comfortable with scenes that are a little on the scary side, you better not watch it. Then the story itself just felt like a drag from the previous one, with the return of old characters, and the adition of new ones that really should not have been created in the first place.

I have watched 7 out of 10 episodes so far and Im getting really frustrated and getting really bad vibes, and if what I think might happen, really happens, then yeah, this season would definitely have ruined any good feelings I had for the first one. Although not my favourite, the first season had an interesting story, and with all its faults, I was able to keep watching. This one feels like a torture most of the time.

I took a break, I needed one, but I will probably watch the other 3 episodes in the next few hours. Once I am done I will come back to spoil it a little bit. Might save some people from the pain this is causing me so far. UGH - . -

If you can ignore the obvious lack of effort put into this, then you will be able to enjoy it. The story itself is not bad, but there are several things that look sloppy and make this look like it was filmed 50 years ago, not in 2008, and I am not talking about the video quality. You will be able to understand once you watch it.

This is a good movie but be warned that the main focus of the movie is working hard for your dreams and not romance. There is romance but it is very subtle.

Oh ok. Thank you for telling me. That makes a lot more sense. And Im not saying the the main actor was not chosen for being previously in BL dramas, they might have chosen him for his popularity between BL fans. What bugged me is that people were going to the extreme, like leaving a 1/10 stars review for the single fact of this not being BL. That does not seem fair and might stop other people from watching thinking this must be really bad (I didnt watch it so I have no idea about that tho).

Yup, like Siane said, it airs every friday, only once a week. I hate that about dramas from Taiwan. They only air 1 episode per week so it takes several months for a drama to finish airing even if it has less than 20 episodes. :(

She is the father’s daughter. He was married before and the wife died from the same cancer that the female lead got near the end. At that time he was already cheating on his wife (the female lead’s real mother) with the woman that is shown to us as her mother but that turns out to be not related to her at all. Also the reason why she treated the female lead worse than her other children. I said worse, cause she was far from being a great mother even to her real children.
