Sounds like a Ren Jia Lun drama with no real kissing. 😆
I am pretty sure I could see his face while they were doing it, but these days you can literally paste someone’s face into someone else’s face so... ^^'
One second they make the female lead extremely smart, the next they make her dumb, the villains do not seem that smart but somehow are one step ahead, the least bad of the villains dies while the others get redemption?? Some characters had potential for more but that potential was wasted. And the list goes on.
Like someone else in the comments said - this is both good and complete trash.

I have watched some of his dramas and he kisses. Maybe the kisses are a bit more family friendly since he is married and that can sometimes cause issues between the couple, but at least he touches lips when kissing.
This Chinese remake isn't as bad as u think. I think the main FL did pretty decent job acting as a robot and human.…
Yeah, that is exactly what I meant. I hate comparing two shows. I usually even avoid watching remakes at all if I have watched the original. If I do end up watching, it has to be at least 2 or 3 years later.
But I recently re-watched the original version so the story is very fresh in my head and watching the trailer and looking at the number of episodes this will have, I feel like it will be a more dragged version of the original story and that does not make me wanna watch it.
Maybe a few years from now I will feel like giving this one a chance.
The synopsis pretty much tells you everything that happens, to the point I do not even feel like watching anymore. At least they could have stopped at the part where it says he goes missing and leave the rest for us to find out. :(
I think you missed my point. What left me confused was why the actors staged that kiss and their lips did not touch. I was not talking about the characters or their feelings at that moment. And there are fake kisses that you are not sure if it is a fake kiss, but the one they did here was painfully obvious because with the angle their heads were it was just impossible for them to be kissing. I would rather have no kiss than something so lazy.
They do kiss properly in the last episode but the first kiss was so fake...their lips did not even touch, the camera angle was made to look like they were kissing but we saw nothing. I am still confused why they did that. I mean, if one of them had covid, they would not be filming in the first place. Not sure why they would fake a kiss and then do it for real later on.
Interesting idea but the execution did not meet my expectations.
And I did not get what was the point of a painfully obvious fake kiss around ep 11 or 12 if later the actors would actually kiss, and it was not even a short one too. I thought maybe one of them, probably him since I have seen her kiss in other dramas, had a no-kiss clause in the contract but that did not seem to be the case.
This had everything to be a great drama, but it was just an average one. :/
People be here excusing their behavior like it’s no big deal. For me, 90% of the characters are unlikable and I cannot relate to them on any level. They are immoral, irresponsible, toxic and sometimes just right down stupid. Nothing to like about them. And no, I am not just talking about the main leads. Almost every character in this drama is trash.
some ppl compare this to vincenzo, unlike vincenzo that i couldn't get past the first ep, this drama was pretty…
I have yet to watch this one but as someone who watched Vincenzo, I can tell you that I also almost dropped it. Had I not pushed forward and I would not have know what I was losing.
For me, Vincenzo only got interesting at the end of the 3rd episode. After that it only got better and better. Some dramas don’t start with a bang but are able to consistently keep you hooked to it if you give it a chance. Vincenzo was like that to me. A drama that I almost dropped....but then it became one of my favorite in the genre.
it blows my mind how prudish japanese dramas are ( lakorn too ) when you know of crazy they are with the adult…
I have watched a few japanese dramas and also lakorns that had steamy kisses but yeah, a lot of them still need to work on that. Sometimes it is a contractual thing. I know of a few actors that only accept to star in a drama if there are no kisses, or only fake kisses or pecks.

In this lakorn their lips didn't even touch. ^^'
