My one complaint would be that the synopsis made me believe they would get married pretty early on, but not only…
Honestly, at this point the wedding would not have added much to the story. I think they could have gotten married after a few episodes of this second part and I would have loved to see them spend more time together and still supporting each other, but now as a married couple. I had not read the novel and the synopsis made me believe they would get married so I was expecting to see their wedding.
But like I said, this was still a great drama even if they left me hanging. ^^'
I really enjoyed this but I did feel that, as expected from a C-drama, it dragged a little bit. I mean, I would…
My one complaint would be that the synopsis made me believe they would get married pretty early on, but not only did that not happen early on, it did not happen at all. I was disappointed and cannot understand why the writers thought it was a good idea to completely omit their wedding. T T
I really enjoyed this but I did feel that, as expected from a C-drama, it dragged a little bit. I mean, I would not mind watching many more episodes of this, it is just that the things they decided to add to the plot to make it longer were not exactly what I wanted to watch. Still a great drama tho.
for me, this drama is a scam!a fantasy romance drama that suddenly becomes a bad makjang drama. so disappointing!i'm…
Yeah. I feel sorry for the creator of the original story and for the actors. If I did not know them from previous projects, I might have thought they were not that great. In fact, the problem was with the script and directing. As you said, this was a scam. They promised us one thing and delivered something completely different.
Started well. Nothing amazing but we had a different plot, Seul-bi was an interesting character and we had a male lead and second male lead that were both nice guys. There was also the fantasy element and some mysteries that kept the story going...or so I thought.
It did not take long, and by that I mean not even half of the drama, for this train to derail. The longer I watched the more it felt like I was watching a bad soap opera. I mean, I have watched many soap operas and Korean daily dramas and will probably watch more in the future, BUT that was not the destination I wanted to reach when I got on this train. I am sure you know how frustrating it is to get inside a train and for it to depart only to find out it is not going where you thought it would.
The derailing was so bad that by the last few episodes we were even getting some scenes with the actors walking off while the others stay there staring at them and the protagonist staring at nothing or the main leads slowly walking to each other while smiling, stuff you would expect from a soap opera from 20 years ago. I think even the actors felt angry they were asked to do stuff that would make them seem like bad actors when the problem was with the script, not them. They were just doing their job.
And the clichés...as if the white truck of doom in the first episode was not cliché enough, in the last episode we get another HUGE cliché. And these were just 2 of many.
I could write much more but to not make this even longer, this was basically a romantic drama with a fantasy element that seemed promising but soon became a below average drama that did not have the time to evolve into an actual daily drama and just became this mess.
can u spoil the plot and ending for me. i cannot get past eps 5. ty
I cannot remember all the details but basically I think it was the son of the lady that works at the hotel that was the bad guy. He tried to kill the female lead and killed other people, including the real son of her boss, and tried to frame the male lead. The male lead goes to jail for some time cause he did some illegal things I cannot remember but he is soon released and reunited with the female lead, so it is a happy ending for them.
I could not tell you much since I have watched a few more dramas after this one and this was not the most memorable one. I am also studying to be a programmer and spent the entire day making 9 programs in total, so as you can imagine, my brain is about to shut down. ^^'
Best decision they could have made was to keep this at 12 episodes. Had this been 24 episodes or even longer, like most c-dramas, I am not sure I would have finished it.
The premise is interesting and it started well but in my opinion, and as usual with cdramas, it had too many characters and a lot of boring and slower parts that I could have done without.
It is a good one-time watch but I would not re-watch it.
I have seen worse thai dramas, but honestly, this is not great. Good cast, some nice clothes, but that is pretty much it. The editing and special effects are pretty bad, the plot is boring, the romance is ok but left much to be desired, ... For me, it was an average thai drama, maybe even below average.
It is not a bad drama, it just did not deliver what it promised. I was expecting more mystery and focus around the whole Dear M thing but it felt underwhelming, including the reveal. Also, it was weird how the "main leads" took a back seat and the story focused more on the love triangle between the second couple and the frenemy.
There were a few more things that made this feel like your regular school drama.
There was nothing in particular that made this stand out from the crowd. Ignore the synopsis and keep your expectations low and you might be able to enjoy this drama more than I did.
I hate having to go to apps like these and buying a membership so I use ad blocker plus on my laptop and then…
I watched it 5 months ago but the subs were not great, which is why I was waiting for iqiyi to release the episodes to everyone hoping the subs were better. I rarely watch dramas through these apps, only when there is some advantage to it, like better subs or it just not being available anywhere else. I have been watching dramas for over 10 years so I have found quite a few websites and fansubs were I can watch dramas.
I found one with eng subs they published it a year ago.
I said "no improvement to the subs", I did not say there were no subs. I know there are subs on YouTube but they are machine translated, not human translated and it is hard to understand anything the characters are saying.
All these short dramas are starting to get annoying. This is the result of Tik Tok and a generation that has a hard time focusing on anything for a long period of time. Imagine being a teacher and having to deal with kids that cannot focus on class for longer than a few minutes. Yikes
I think there has been 1 maybe 2 short dramas that I watched that I thought were decent, and they were like 10 minutes long, not 2. There just is not enough time to develop a plot in such a short time. Everything feels rushed, superficial and amateur.
This one is pretty bad compared to some of the other short dramas I have watched and I am unable to keep watching. Even with it being so short, it still feels like a waste of time.
I would rather watch a 1h per episode drama that has an interesting plot than 2 minutes of this. ^^'
