Exactly, it’s getting quite annoying already, I wonder how many good dramas these people are losing for these…
Oh, it's a beautiful description.

Frankly, I wouldn't care to even check out this show's trailer if not because of the ml. Let's be honest, with what became of that-drama-which-must-not-be-named, many wouldn't even get close to another time travel series anytime soon. Seeing someone like Jo Seung Woo in this gives me a bit of confirmation. And reading the Koreans' comments under the trailer, K side seems hyped mostly because of him.

Indeed, mature romance is something else. A confident male lead with no prejudice against women and a female lead who owes the society nothing, as she thrives using her own intelligence and strength.
She does owe him an apology, tho. For what she did to him in the beginning was unacceptable, even by her own standards. Specially by her own standards.

Tried to make the characters unpredictable, ended up making them inconsistent. Someone almost Sherlock-level observant, can't tell dead from unconscious???
How this has 10 points reviews is beyond me. I'll only trust the comments from now on.

What a shame tho. The leads nailed it and more. I couldn't recognize JSW from this and I'm excited to watch something else from LBY. Also, the directing and editing was beautiful.

Episode 6's end is exactly when things start to get interesting lol
Hope you enjoy. I loved S2 but it wasn't up until a certain event that I felt the rush. If it still doesn't catch your attention past that point, it probably never will.

Who is KMM?
Oh, if you like Yoo Ah In, you definitely should check out Six Flying Dragons. They both nailed it. (Though the drama that first made me love KMM was Beethoven Virus.)

The beginning was hella exciting! I thought I finally found a thrilling kdrama that keeps me on my toes. The first…
Same! I was looking forward to the family reunion because no other scenario made more sense in my mind. I did expect Min Hyuk's death, since he looked like the typical sacrificial character (and the fact that my favorite characters almost always die lmao) but still I expected it to be in some useful way, after the family getting together to somehow fix the time travel mess.

This was stellar (albeit a little slow) untill the hints of romance started to become obvious. From there, nothing made sense anymore. Seeing it's final minutes, I think the production team didn't realize that the whole point of incest isn't just psychological or social damage. It's biological disaster. Doesn't matter even if she's a total stranger from a 100th dimension, so long as she clearly has the same dna as his mother.

Was this live-shot? Because that would explain it suddenly throwing all logic away. Maybe due to some demands for romance and later on clarification that she's not really his mother? Not to mention how inferior and even funny the last episode's writing felt compared to the rest of the drama.

Will Watch for Ma Ke. He saved Journey of Flower from being a domestic violence series for me. He needs some good…
Oh, exactly! idk why his other drama (dragon gate inn) doesn't air.

How does this compare to Behind The White Tower?
I'm 2 years late lol, but it's interesting to see the same question I had. Though it turned out the two dramas are different. BTWT was focused on medicine and was full of intense surgical scenes, while Life is more political and rarely shows any medical process.

I like the way the writer views the world. It's fresh. And although she's left many loose ends in this one, her storytelling was mature, specially for a new writer. And the dialogs were clever.
I think I'm becoming numb to LDW's acting. First, Tale of the nine tailed and now this. His character felt almost invisible. Even though this writer seems to be the type not to limit herself to character roles, I believe he had enough to work with.
Everyone seems to have liked the ending, but I felt underwhelmed with it. After the 2nd episode, I expected some sort of showdown at the end between the leads. And main couple having so little interaction?? Come on! The brothers' part was beautiful tho.
