I fully agree. I don't get what it is about First but people get so mean about him sometimes. Some of things I was seeing during Only Friends about him baffled me.

And yeah, I felt even worse for him when he was talking about knowing he's not great and how nervous he gets when he has to sing. Like he's not unaware of his own limitations, but I also think they make him sing in a vocal range he's not actually comfortable with and that I can't figure out. I really hope that for the OST they let him do something that really suits him. ❤️

They've been given some horrible scripts. But I think that they're gonna shine here...especially Dunk. Thy dynamic is gonna be changed up and I really think it'll be good. I also found their other shows kind of boring, so when I say I believe that this one will be different I really believe it.

I don't think it was ever supposed to be super serious - Jojo has said from the beginning that it's a romcom, think 10 Things I Hate About You. And in my opinion the trailer was mostly unserious.

I am down for that personally. One, I've seen FK cry too much in the last couple of years. I know it's their thing but I personally want something different. Two, I think that this style (heh) plays to Dunk's strengths in particular and I am really excited to see what he does here. And three, I am just in the mood for it. I will be disappointed if it's too serious.

I genuinely doubt it'll be my favorite thing this year - too much competition tbh - but I am looking forward to it. I really hope it keeps the tone here and doesn't try to take itself too seriously. I want my promised romcom, darn it.

I think that's a good idea in general. People expect too much from all these shows and then get mad when what they get doesn't match the thing in their heads.

My rule of thumb is to go into shows just hoping to be entertained, and thus far it has worked pretty well.

Y'all, Princess Pat is gorgeous and that makes me want to give her some grace about her bullshit, but oh my god I wanted to go through the screen and throttle her today.

Can she not see how upset she's making someone she claims to love as a daughter? No, she can't, and this is so very like what so many mothers will do to their daughters that I'm having a really really hard time not hating her for it.

I feel bad because (as I say every time this comes up) I feel like Dunk especially has been typecast when it comes to BL and I don't think he suits the role they want to put him in.

It happens to the others too but fortunately for them they suit what they get. But if I'm honest, I think Style is going to be my second fave. He looks so fun and I think Dunk is going to do a great job, actually.

Frankly I don't really care, if I'm honest. Maybe Home isn't "as bad" as the rest of them but why should she care? She's been plotting her revenge for 10 years, I don't see why Home coming home (heh) should stop her.

I think it was probably not her though. Uncle was the one who suggested he leave, remember. Handed him the car key too, if I recall correctly. The Kan being there thing might be meant to make us think that she was involved. Maybe she just showed up later and bounced.

And as for the uncle looking relieved...wouldn't be the first time a show has shown the audience something to throw them off the scent - it's a cheap but common trick to have a character do something while alone that makes them look innocent. Or it's possible Uncle sabotaged him but didn't want him to die...
