I am enjoying this drama, but there IS something missing for me that crack dramas of the past have had. I think it's that they don't seem to trust viewers to pay attention, too many fast cuts and overly obvious dialogue, it just feels like its made for people with very low attention spans.
Nowadays, Kdramas seem to be rising again, with many of them getting ratings above 8. So with this one being below…
This drama does have some weaknesses, so it really depends if the kind of weaknesses it has bother you. For me, they don't, so I'm really enjoying it at this point cause I like all the other stuff in it
strengths: - strong chemistry with leads that gets better each ep - leads both have deep backstories that tug at you emotionally - absurd humor -- I find it super funny, but if that's not your type of humor then not for you - cute and fun members of the little farming/small town community weaknesses: - unrealistic plot points at times (things like people driving long distances in unbelievable amounts of time, stuff happening with their jobs or work that wouldn't happen IRL, etc, nothing huge or that really matters for the story but some people have been really bothered by it) - 2ML is pointless, has zero purpose or personality - It does have a bit of a slow start, but really ramps up by ep 3-4
Kim Bum's character is like a cardboard box in human form. His only trait is liking YeJin. He serves zero purpose except to add a very mild amount of love triangle drama. Waste of talent.
omg There’s already so much to say about this new episode. I absolutely love the chemistry between the two leads…
This is what I love, too, he is so respectful towards her, and genuinely cares for her well being. His feelings started when he understood how much pain she was in and that like him, she hides a lot of depth behind a public mask.
The scene where he takes her to the park felt so gently kind. Helping her take a moment to enjoy the small things that she hasn't had time to notice because she works herself so hard.
At the beginning when he said "You're so impatient, if you just push slowly the door will open" def felt like him talking about himself instead lol
I have really liked the FL from ep 1, I would rather have a FL who is outspoken and outgoing, who knows what she wants and goes for it, than the mousy doormat FLs we see so often in K dramas.
The building is on fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. I wish all the episodes leak somewhere... omg now i gotta wait…
Some companies want you to acknowledge in writing when you are in a relationship with a coworker. Also, if they started an actual relationship they would likely re-assign one of them so one wouldn't supervisor over the other. But in all the offices I worked in it's not against any rules to hook up with or casually date a coworker outside of work as long as you don't do anything inappropriate while on the clock, so nothing they have done so far is inappropriate.
I can't help but notice that even though ML has exes, it is the first time we see HIM going after a girl. Other…
omg you're right! I remember his now bestie roommate mentioned that he always just went along with the flow in relationships, not seeming overly excited to get together or upset to break up, so this one IS so different for him
Not really for the people who wants traditional kdrama romance. But as someone who has been tired of many romance…
I choked when the exceptionally attractive Prince in Perfect Crown who is like 33 claimed in the most recent ep that he'd never dated or even slept with a woman before like be for real, please. It's refreshing for a drama to treat adults like adults.
omg, I am so glad I did not drop it after the first episode, this is so good!
This is why I always give a show until the 4th episode. It's true of every single drama--if it isn't good by 4 it'll never get better, and if it's good you'll be hooked by ep 4.
They destroyed her character. From a principled manager to a horny woman who sleeps with her employee after working…
I kinda wanna tell you to... grow up? Do you know how many marriages start between coworkers IRL? They're both single and weren't at a work function and genuinely appreciate each other, it's very clear she isn't just attracted to him because he's hot, it's because of a real connection they had. Calling her a "destroyed" horny unprincipled person is such a wild overreaction
The only downside to a swift moving plot is that there are now 8 more episodes for break up nonsense. But I think…
Yeah the FL is kinda an expert at hiding her true self and I can see her easily falling back to pushing him away, but on the flip side the ML is sooo genuine, so I can't see him just suffering in silence pretending he doesn't care. I'm hoping that makes the inevitable break up less frustrating

Also would make sense why his father has seemed hesitant to give him the company.
