Some interesting moments (the scene with Ga Ryeong tied to the pole was pretty spectacular), but why was this…
I watched it in my made half time long version - I love Chae Soo Bin, but dislike joseon kings, so I mostly skipped those parts and also all evil parts. The result was nice historical romcom. :) The whole drama was very well made and well acted, but I watched it only for CSB. I wanted to be objective and so my rating is 9, but I would not not be able to watch it without skipping many parts.
I must agree, that it was too childish drama. Romance could be great, it the main focus was on it and their campus life.Or it could be good crime drama if there would be no romance. But they mixed these two genres together and it was childish with many illogical and stupid decisions. Why they had classes of ju-jitsu or judo if they then don't use it in fights? I think that it had higher potential. Cast and acting was good, but it could be written better. 8.5/10 for me.
I read this comment before watching the show and was really curious on how something like this could happen when…
I didn't stop watching it, I just didn't care about leads. I don't remember it now anymore, but it was probably a drama that was just normal. Not annoying enough to drop it and not good enough to love it. In that case, every little thing could upset that balance. It was likable, but not that much that I would forgive it anything.
What to say to it... everyone has different point of view, otherwise we would be all the same. So I just saw that situation differently than you.
To like a show, I need to really like some character, usually FL. Here I didn't like her much.I can watch many other shows, especially those with my favourite actresses (e.g. Wan Peng, Xing Fei, Wu Xuan Yi or others from other countries - Chae Soo Bin, Fukada Kyouko...).
I am struggling to get through episode 1. I definitely want to get through this though because I'm looking forward…
I was struggling too, because I was comparing it with game world in Love O2O, which was very realistic. This also had no actress that I would know and like., but I recently finished Eternal Love of Dream with Dilraba in main role and it will be now easier to watch this, because I now like Dilraba, she was amazing in ELOD. :)
Hi, so, just finish Eternal Love and was considering watching this one... Is this parallel to Eternal Love?
It is a love story of Feng Jiu and Dong Hua (support characters in EL. I didn't see EL,but what I read, story lines are different. Surely watch ELOD, it is beautiful (I just finished it). Their chemistry is outstanding. I still need to recover from it. OST is also very nice, ending song Pian Pian will stay with me for a long time. :)
It was great drama, but what is with that beiji emperor? Everyone behaves like it is a male and it can be seen at first sight that it is female (actress Liu Mei Tong). Is there a mistake in translation (I don't understand chinese) or is there any secret (like no one told "him" that "he" is actually girl)? :)
I do this to myself every time- I always read the youtube comments, and there are ALWAYS spoilers. I've already…
I do the same here. I don't want to know spoilers, but I click on Reveal Spoiler anyway and "surprisingly" there are major spoilers sometimes. I am then angry with myself, but then I click on it again. :D
There is romance, but very light. This season is more about friendship. It is worth the watch if you like magic and comedy and some main actors. I like comedy, magic and Wu Xuan Yi from Sweet Teeth, so if I thought about it as a parody, it was watchable, but sometimes main characters (especially males) were too stupid.
I gonna start with good side: it had nice effects, interesting story, not too big drama and I loved cute Xiao Wu. But... I think that I started to understand what is hate watching. Most of characters were naive and stupid and when I thought that there can't be anyone more stupid than that, they surprised me again. ML was crybaby with some super power (from the book), which he was forbidden to show. Adult people kept blushing when someone only mentioned word kiss, llama started a sand storm, but they could move in it with open eyes and when it stopped there were no remains of sand at all. And many more things... It would be better if it was made as parody.
If Wu Xuan Yi is not in S2, I will not watch it, because she as Xiao Wu was the main reason why I finished this drama.
I enjoy fluff and romance, dramatic plots are ok too, as long as it's not too cliche and annoying:))
Crush is something that I can't recommend, because that breakup part was annoying and illogical for me. I didn't drop it only because of Wan Peng, who is my favourite. I rated it 8.5, because it was well acted and first half was 10/10, but then it went south for me. Those three above that I recommended are all my favourites with score 9.5 and higher.
Thank you friend for reading this article ❤️ If you are fine with watching historical dramas, I suggest you…
Lol. It's impossible to clear my CW list... and I checked that drama and I would not be able to watch it. I can watch only historical romcoms or comedies (it needs to be funny from the first episode). From chinese historical dramas I saw only Love Like White Jade (with Wan Peng - it was very funny and I liked it) and now I watch The Moon Brightens for You (with Xing Fei - so far it is good). I will rather watch some of his modern romances (e.g. Forever and Ever)

Meeting You - leads are cute together and help each other, slow burning
Both are cdramas.
