On Filing for Love 14 days ago
There’s something I find pretty contradictory about this drama. On one hand, the audit team is supposed to expose workplace issues, conflicts of interest, office relationships, and unethical behavior. But on the other hand, when a secretary openly makes advances toward her superior or a department head develops feelings for her subordinate, it suddenly doesn’t seem like a big deal. Aren’t those exactly the kinds of workplace dynamics that raise questions about hierarchy, favoritism, and professional ethics? At this point, I genuinely don’t know if I’m supposed to turn my brain off while watching this drama.

Honestly, I agree with most of this. It really does feel like a recycled mix of clichés that never gets elevated…
Exactly, you completely understood my point. I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who thinks that. Seeing this drama rated 8.5 is honestly insane… There have been much better dramas released around the same time. If I take Sold Out on You as an example, even though the story is predictable, the execution is excellent and you take the characters much more seriously.

the flashback on the parents are the best part of the show imo what did you expect from this ?
So, do you really think the flashbacks involving the mother and father are impactful? Personally, I found them pretty underwhelming. We basically just see the mother carrying out a repetitive mission where she flirts with a guy to figure out his intentions, and that's about it. I was expecting something much more elaborate and memorable an actual infiltration mission, a more compelling context, or even the two of them meeting during a high-stakes operation. I would have loved to see them working together as a team, relying on each other in the field and gradually building their relationship through the mission. That would have added much more depth to their story and made their connection feel far more meaningful and memorable.

@Crelisya I saw that you only watched 3/28 Eps then dropped. How could you see and say so much about the story…
That was before I dropped it, and then I picked it back up and finished it, but I forgot to update it. In the end, I didn’t really like it . it felt like a waste of time, but it’s okay if y'all enjoyed it.

I’m on ep 11 now, and honestly from ep 8 to 10 the pacing really starts to drag. It feels way too slow at times, kind of stretched out for no reason, and they keep replaying the same scenes over and over. I can totally see why some people ended up getting bored with it.

There are definitely some interesting elements, but the execution just isn’t great they could’ve really tightened things up and made it more concise.

Another thing that kind of worries me is that I really like the human, slice-of-life aspect of the drama, but I don’t really feel like there’s a clear main thread or narrative structure. It kind of feels like we’re just following random events here and there without a strong direction… so I hope I’m wrong and it all comes together later.

I’m still watching though because I feel like the story is probably worth it, but so far the flashback about Bongseok’s parents didn’t really do it for me. I was expecting something more exciting or impactful. I really hope the rest gets better, because the flashbacks haven’t been great so far, and ironically, they’re the part I was most interested in.

I knew the friend was behind it the moment he showed up at the funeral and started badmouthing the guy who had just passed away...

It was a good transitional episode, and now we finally know why he goes by Matthew. On the other hand, I really can't stand the older sister she's so irritating...

As for the preview of Ep. 11, things are definitely looking spicy Can't wait for the next episode!

I’m not gonna lie, ep 9 made me cry. Their relationship is just so beautiful, seriously. I love this couple and especially how it’s portrayed Like I said in my previous analysis of ep 8 and in my review, they see themselves in each other: they’re the same, like two sides of the same coin. I’ve noticed that from the very beginning.

Honestly, I don’t understand the people who kept saying this drama is boring or bad. I really don’t see how you can miss the depth of the story and the characters.

But it’s nice to see more and more people finally realizing it’s an excellent drama. It might have a writing flaw with that unnecessary love triangle, I’ll admit that, but the execution, direction, and especially the emotional impact are flawless.

For me, it’s a solid 10/10 fav romcom of 2026 🔥❤️

Slow and Cringe

I managed to watch up to episode 20, and it honestly feels very Wattpad-like.

Cinematically, it’s beautiful, and the color grading is really good. But the script is bad there was so much potential to explore, yet it’s badly executed, dragged out, and unnecessarily stretched.

And the acting isn’t great either. As for Esther, I genuinely feel bad for her she has so much talent i love her, and reducing her to such a childish role is questionable. I don’t know what the producer was thinking…

The episodes are also way too long. Condensing everything into 20–25 episodes and going straight to the point would’ve been enough, in my opinion.

Honestly, not really I’m open to anything and I really watch all kinds of stuff. But here the problem is really the acting; I just couldn’t get into it. The acting was pretty bad, and I didn’t feel any chemistry at all.

It’s bad compared to most C-dramas. Maybe if you’re new to them, you might enjoy it, but once you’ve watched a lot of them, you really start noticing the difference in acting, pacing, writing, etc. It’s the same with Speed and Love it’s honestly a disaster…

you can not love it but to say worst drama ever you seem like a hater it was a light drama and the acting and…
I think it’s the worst in its category, honestly there have been way better ones. I’m not gonna pretend otherwise: when something is great, I’ll say it, and when it’s bad, I’ll say that too. It’s kind of hypocritical to accept praise but suddenly become purists as soon as the feedback is negative.

I’m with you! I have seen 4 episodes and these last 2 almost with fast forward so I could finish. Super cringe,…
Don’t worry, you actually saved yourself some time by stopping…
And for Sold Out, just know that there’s comedy too, but it’s handled way better it doesn’t feel forced every five seconds. It’s honestly the kind of drama where each episode gets better than the previous one. And if you’re interested, I also wrote a review of the drama. I’ll be waiting for your feedback.

I dropped this deama after watching the 11th episode and ngl I tried to pick it up again so many times because…
I'm curious, what made you drop it?

Personally, I think the characters are well written and the dialogues feel natural. I don’t get the impression that the characters are just caricatures. There’s also an interesting slice-of-life aspect to it. I feel like the first few episodes are mainly there for exposition, especially since there are 20 episodes.
