Title Moving
For now, I’m on ep 4 and I’m really enjoying it. The real strength of this drama clearly lies in its characters. At the moment, it’s mostly setting things up and building the story, but I’m excited to see what happens next.

I’ve seen some people complain about the repeated and recycled flashbacks, so I’m not really sure what to think about that yet. But honestly, I’m not bored at all, and the visual effects are actually pretty well done.

I also really appreciate the portrayal of the main character. He comes across as slightly autistic or maybe it’s simply because he’s never really interacted with anyone other than his mother and I find that representation really interesting and well handled.

I want to start this drama, but I have a few questions for those who’ve already watched it:

- does it have a real plot, or is it more of a slice-of-life type of show?
- Are there any fight scenes with superpowers? If yes, what are they like?
- Are the special effects distracting or badly made?
- And most importantly… is it cringe?

I'm in love with this show lmao...every episode just gets better and better...yes this last episode wrecked me,…
I completely agree. And to think some people find this drama boring it’s honestly the most human and relatable one I’ve seen in a long time.

4 hours after watching the ep 8, I had time to calm down about the ending of the ep, which I initially found too abrupt. But the more I think about it, the more it can also be seen as a form of trauma bonding between them.

Both of them are involved in something serious that has been eating away at them for a long time. They eventually reached a point of resignation about their problem, never truly resolving it, only suppressing it.

In the end, we’re often drawn to people who resonate with us. In their case, that’s exactly what happens. They are connected through a shared underlying issue. There is clearly love between them, but also a lot of unspoken feelings and personal wounds related to their respective situations. As a result, they trigger each other, because each one reflects what the other is trying to avoid.

From this perspective, I don’t think Meechori was lying when he said he felt responsible for her out of guilt, while still genuinely loving her. Their chemistry, and the fact that feelings developed between them, can also be explained by how deeply similar they are.

Even working together on this project brought them closer, but at the same time it also brought back memories and resurfaced painful feelings they had tried to bury.

And honestly, the way the argument unfolded isn’t actually that strange. It might feel incoherent right after finishing the episode because everything before that was very light and good vibes, so the sudden shift feels abrupt and makes us think, “Why is he reacting like this out of nowhere?” But it actually makes sense. He has been repressing his problems for a long time, and Yejin is directly tied to those issues. On top of that, Eric’s comment, “What did you even do for her?”, only adds fuel to the fire and pushes everything over the edge.

I really appreciate the depth of their relationship. I wasn’t expecting much from a romcom, but it turned out to be much more layered than I thought. The drama also carries a real sense of humanity in the way it portrays their emotions, flaws, and contradictions.

The score has gone up to 9.5 for me 🔥

Nah, let’s be real. This plot did not need 16 episodes. I’d rather watch a well paced 12 episode drama than…
Yeah, we have to be realistic. Not every story needs a 16 episode format. It all depends on the plot and the story it’s trying to tell.

There’s no point dragging things out unnecessarily. This drama is actually a perfect example of a story with a really well controlled pace that fits what it wants to portray.

That said, the writing choice at the end of episode 8 is definitely a flaw, but it has nothing to do with the pacing. That part is on the script itself, and the writer is the one to blame for that decision.

Everything was perfect until the ending… Honestly, the way he spoke to her felt completely unnecessary. We all know it’s because of what Eric told him. The ML probably thinks Yejin stopped working because of him, so he wants her to hate him in order to push her back to work… but it honestly makes no sense. He knows very well that she overthinks easily and struggles with insomnia.

She literally told him that he’s her only source of comfort and that he’s the reason she’s slowly getting better again… so the smartest thing he could come up with was adding even more stress to her life? That writing choice just doesn’t feel coherent to me.

I know how kdramas work, though. They always need to add drama because that’s basically part of the formula, so I’m trying not to focus on it too much, but it was still really frustrating to watch. I get that it’s supposed to move the plot forward, but there were definitely better ways to handle it.

That being said, I really love how the comedy is written, and the Kpop Demon Hunters reference was hilarious. I had also predicted the plot twist, just like many other viewers probably did, but honestly the pacing has been excellent so far. Still, the next episode already looks painful...

And I still don’t understand how some people manage to hate the FL. She’s genuinely kind to everyone except her parents, and honestly, considering everything, it’s completely understandable why.

I’m still really enjoying the drama, the characters, and the couple, so I’m definitely looking forward to the next episodes. For now, it’s still a solid 9/10 for me. At least it’s better for these misunderstandings to happen now instead of being thrown in at the very last ep.

trust me it's a waste of time , I’m usually the first to enjoy light, comedic dramas and easygoing vibes, but…
Let me explain: I can enjoy something that is predictable, but only if it’s well executed, if it builds emotional attachment or if the characters are genuinely interesting. In the case of Sold Out on You, I feel like it has all of that. It might look like a classic, somewhat predictable formula on paper, but I actually think it’s very well done. For example, the idea of the job and the FL’s project is really engaging and intriguing. The drama’s atmosphere also adds a unique and original touch. Overall, the characters make me want to keep following their story.

In My Royal Nemesis, I don’t feel any of that. To me, the dialogues lack natural flow. It really feels like lines are being recited from a script rather than real conversations.
