I wish Jiyoon wasn’t that popular among voters but I know that the producers would have chosen her if she didn’t…
yeah i'm still not a fan of her personality. she gets really upset when things don't go her way and i wouldn't want that for a group that's supposed to be together for 7 years minimum. i find it strange how everyone loves how she's "real" though. it just feels negative and disrespectful to me. HOT TAKE, besides her voice i don't think she brings that much to the team. she has a great great voice, but lacks in presence, dance, and personality. it always feels like she's lacking energy to me. like her best performances were only the vocal ones and her mood only improved when she only got recognized/praised for her vocals. she doesn't need to be an all-rounder or anything, but she's an idol, not just a solo korean singer (which i personally think would've fit her more).
Few theories on why Fuko wasnt chosen: 1. in general as a all rounder she gives more vocal, jiyoon and jeong eun…
1. it's not bad to have decent and stable vocals in a group (there shouldn't ONLY be 2). there are already so many "non-singer" group controversies already 2. fuko is japanese lol 3. i think it's true she didn't exceptionally shine. she was very stable, but she never had that SPARK on stage or like wow moment imo. in mai's case she has unique visuals that koreans love and she excels at short killing moments. i'm sure in mai and saebi's case they needed two visuals with excellent killing points, as they already had jungeun/jiyoon vocals and jeemin/koko/sarang dance.
glad they made it to 7 members rather than 6. Even number doesn't sit right with me for a group
i was shocked they made it "6" to begin with, but i kind of figured they were going to make it 7. i def think they planned it at the start and wasn't some last-minute impromptu producer decision.
Mai and Sarang debuted but Fuko didnt… I love all the girls at the final but it was obvious who deserved it…
no way you just doubted koko's skills 😭 yuju was my #1 pick and i can still say koko did so much better in spicy and her other performances. she just has that PRESENCE whenever she dances and is on stage. i replayed her parts many times. yuju is a much better rapper, but her dance moves are small and i just don't think fuko has that kind of powerful presence to her when she performs. i hope she debuts in the future too, but i could easily see her being overshadowed by others if she debuted in this group. all of them deserve to debut, koko's talent/skills are so clear. how could you possibly doubt it? it's the same with enha's ni-ki too. he "only dances" yet he's one of the most beloved members cuz he's damn good at it. your argument could be the same for (for example) jiyoon who "only sings" but lacks in mostly every other aspect or jeemin and saebi who also mainly only has presence. why not question all their skills? lmao
Just say you dont like her. Forget the long epistle.
18 is an adult, not a child. i don't like how expressive she was because it made her seem like a terrible sport and unprofessional. regardless i'm not upset she made the final (i knew she would anyway). that's just my view and you don't have to agree with it.
i personally don't see how saebi and sarang are so unliked when they've demonstrated their skills so many times??? even though sarang isn't my personal pick i think she's too much of an all-rounder to let go (vocal, dance, stage presence, visual). i wish fuko could've made the final though, she's probably one of the most stable all rounders on the show 😭😭😭
i love mai, but i don't think she was as ready for debut as fuko was. jungeun, jeemin, jiyoon, koko, sarang, saebi, and fuko would've been the PERFECT lineup all-around 😭 i wish yuju, gyuri, and fuko all the best
So they should have released season 2 a year after season 1? I very much doubt they thought Season 1 would have…
the creator only ever wanted and planned for one season. season 2 & 3 is just netflix corporate greed, but believe me when it comes out, people WILL watch
it actually sucks cuz the girls are so talented, but i have a bad feeling about the music they're gonna release if it all comes from theblacklabel 😭 they have some good music, but i can't particularly seeing them find a decent concept/sound that works for these girls. unless they pursue smth like iwaly. if you look at treasure, they had one of the best 4th gen vocal trios in the industry and they never let them sing cuz of their concept/music style.
Just say you dont like her. Forget the long epistle.
i'm not sure if you watched i-land 1, but a little spoiler:
ni-ki voted taki off i-land because he thought he needed to work harder (even though they're good friends). taki, being like 14 at the time, was obviously upset and felt betrayed, but he ultimately understood ni-ki's intentions and worked really hard to meet him again in i-land. ni-ki was evilly edited in this section and widely hated, and yet ni-ki and taki remained good friends throughout and after the show. mentalities like taki's are ones needed for debut. ways they respond to negative emotions are what determine if they are currently ready to debut or not. it's not all about talent and skills.
