Same lol. It never made sense to me. Maybe because they didn't have much time left as the drama was nearing to…
i was team dfqc too, but just ended up appreciating changheng as his own character. he's honestly prob one of my fave drama characters in general. THE PART WHERE SHE HARSHLY REJECTED HIM MADE ME SO SAD FOR HIM OMG.
shuxin and linghe are gonna be a pairing in their new drama "a journey to you" too that i'm excited for. just nervous for a bad ending ๐ฐ

SAME. i was even more sad when she became his male "bro" in the mortal realm too. i was expecting him to fall in love with her there but no ๐ญ i'm not too upset about them not ending up together cuz i love their friendship and how they cared and supported each other despite everything. it felt like such a mature way to end it. but it would be so nice for BOTH of them to find someone who loves them.
i was already sad AF for changheng losing his girl 283628 times even though they were technically fated. and then how she got his hopes up marrying him at the end ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ

same. i actually really liked her in general since the fairy trials. i sorta wish they utilized her even more in the story too, but she was essential in changheng's story for sure. he would've been long dead without her ๐ญ
s2s for romances make me nervous purely for the fact that s2 in romances almost ALWAYS include a break up of some kind (cuz they need to add some spice to the relationship) and that's just not something i need to see between youngwoo and junho specifically ๐ญ
omggg i thought i kept recognizing her. i didn't realize i already watched her in the silent sea, kill boksoon, and 19th life. she's so talented for her age (and so cute). i'm excited to see how she evolves as an actor

omg true. the more i think about it, the more pointless the whole sister plot really was. the only thing is maybe just the ending freeing ronghao, but i think they could've easily written something else besides the sisters. they only explored it for like 2 eps anyway ๐คจ

maybe, but it just made me think there was this whole plot twist that jieli was danyin's mother and maybe she lost her memory or she was lying/hiding it to shangque the entire time and then i felt weird thinking about jieli actually being married to li yuan lmao. it was kind of a weird confusing choice overall, but i guess it does help to connect mother and daughter when they have the exact same face LOL
I started watching (2nd episode so far), and while I LOVE the ML, I find myself shipping orchid with the 2nd ML…
i felt the same. it's actually a really strong love triangle (coming from someone who hates love triangles and rarely gets sls). but the drama does a good job of not leading you on too much with the sml and really building the fml and ml pair. i just grew to appreciate changheng as a character himself.
i think this was a good (yet difficult) watch which kept me pretty interested from beginning to end. it has an intriguing plot and quite the cast. acting is superb. but i wasn't a fan of how clear-cut they made the killer and reveals. they'd show such obvious "hints" and then act like the plot twists were real twists. it kind of left a lot of tension and mystery out. i also personally didn't care too much for the characters, maybe cuz there were so many?
overall, it was a good watch. nothing phenomenal or innovative, but an interesting watch in general
i'm actually surprised with how little dramas she's in. i always hear about her and watched her a couple times, but never realized how little she's been in compared to other top actors
i don't think the story was that complicated to understand, but as a character-driven heist movie, it completely lacks in its characters. most have little to no personalities outside specific traits and nearly all their stories fail to receive closure. their stories just end without any final update. there's maybe one decent plot twist and the rest is just meh. basically no character development or growth. overall, it just felt like a pointless watch. makes me want to watch my love from another star though
this is such an incredible movie and pleasant surprise. there were a few unbelievable moments, but overall it was intense, thrilling, and so damn sad. brilliant acting and screenwriting. deserves more love
