What's going on?

What's going on? Who is this Lan Lan? What does she want?! Geez it's so confusing, why do they show Lan Lan so much and why do they make Zhang Xiao lose her memory of the Qing eraall of a sudden? -_-

I can't figure out the storyline, I just hope Zhang Xiao and Yi Zheng come together.

This gentle wrist grab, aaw <3

Yes Yes Yes, the romance starts now! I didn't feel any chemistry between Chuk Hee and Jeong Woo until this gentle wrist grab, I underline gentle, it was so sudden but felt so sweet <3

The reason I couldn't imagine chemistry was mainly because of Chuk Hee, she is just too arrogant sometimes so i was rather annoyed by her but when Jeong Woo looked all serious and in general a scene finally became serious it was pretty romantic and dramatic how both grabbed her hand but she waled of with Min Gyu. I also somehow never considered Min Gyu the second male lead, i thought that he will be just a real good friend to both of them who'll help them come together...but now! I don't know...

Appearently Gwanghae had experinced a realistic character development

Ok this first episode was really good. It made me pretty curious about Gwanghae.

With the last scene of this episode Gwanghaes character captured my attention. I must say that I'm already familar with Prince Gwanhae and his story. In The King's Face he was pictured as a very nice, upright and wise but pitiful man, actually the same as in the begining of this episode. The Crown Prince has more enemies then supporters on the cour and even his own father doesn't cherish any feelings pf him as his son, rather as another political enemy. The King isn't only wary but also jealous of Gwanghae because of his methods of reign that lead to his popularity by the people of Joseon. Because of his weakness that Gwanghae makes him indirectly aware of he hate his son and does everything he can to depose him and doesn't listen to the princes pleads.

In 'The King's Face' Gwanghae remained that kind son and grieved over his father. I was expecting the very same from this gwanghae too BUT he did surprise me when he let everything he thought out on the Kings deathbed. Appearently this character had experinced a realistic character development. Different from 'The king's face' Gwanghae did realize that the king "didn't like the fact that [he] was different frim [him] because [he is] not incompetent like [him]"

Looks good, very good~

I was pleasantly surprised about this drama or this episode. I actually had no interest in it and only started it bc of Yeon Woo Jin (whom I've seen and loved in Marriage, Not Dating) and Shim Hyung Tak (whom I've seen and loved in Persevere Goo Hae Ra). I thought maybe Woo Jin would spice up the plot with his funny expressions and that's exactly what happened! :D

So Jeon Woo is a likeable character who is not only working hard in the law office but actually is very aware of all the law paragraphs. That way he also appeared intelligent for me. He still is a little bit of a push over and clumsy. The only reason he failed the exam and was not able to become a lawyer is some kind of accident in the past, that's what we get to know in a conversation between Soo Ah, who is apperently his friend and fellow student, and Jeon Woos mother, whos wish is to marry Soo Ah to her son.

Unfortunatly his mother also can't let him visit the law school again bc of money problems, but there Soo Ah shoves her account book over telling the mother to let Jeon Woo attend the school again with it.

Jo Soo Ah is already a lawyer in a law firma under the father of what seems to be our second male lead Bong Min Gyu (I'm not fond of this name :/ ).

Bong Min Gyu even thought competent, seems not really interested in being a lawyer and israther bored by this. Still he is not a cold emotionless character. When a little girl was scolded by her mother for ruining his new expensive suit to tears he quickly gave the mother a lecture how one shouldn't hurt feeling of a child and comforted the girl.

Go Cheok Hee and Bong Min Gyu seem to have a past with each other that resulted Cheok Hee seeing him as a strong rival. But Cheok Hee is never intimidated by anyone. Not even Min Gyus suspicious father who threated her in a trial they met as apponents. Unfortunately not only she gets frauded by her client, after Bong In Jae fills a law suit for her, she loses her job too.

Looking forward to the next ep.

Judging from the preview to the next episode, the 'couples' (even thogh I don't believe there would be real romance with the mother...well, i hope at least not with a student) are gonna be settled :) I really want to see romance between Hong Sa Tae and Ah Ran^^ But Bok Dong is so cute too when he is around Ah Rans mother ><

Just some thoughts and feelings about this drama :)

The amount of misunderstanding in this drama is almost too much to handle for me >_< But it's fresh 'cause the main point of this drama are one huge misunderstanding and mystification after another wtch builds up the story, I like that :) But at the same time I feel so bad for the characters especially for Kang Cheol right now. Poor guy, couldn't even date bc he thinks he is gay and now his heart is broken >_<

I liked this episode the best from all the others so far.

I liked this episode the best from all the others so far.

Loved it that they made the strict, intimidating father actually change bc thats what humans do, they chage with experience and it would just not make any sense if he'll still disregard his own sons safety and noz worry about him. But even though humans do change it's still difficult for them to overcome their'pride' or 'habits' and I think they showed it very well with the father. it was hard or rather embarassing for him to say 'I'm sorry' and 'I'm worried, come home', it showed pretty well, but the actor is pretty good so no wonder :)

As for Goo Seo Jin,

I also liked his change, I would prefer him not being that extreme sadist like guy at the beginning so that his change wouldn't feel that 'sudden' (it felt like he mixed in with Robin completely and is a completly different character after he saved Ha Na) but soon we still saw Seo Jin and his coldness. So I'm glad he didn't change his actual personality. i wonder when Robin will come out again, it rather seems that Seo jin is quite stable now and won't let Robin come out ever again (but of course he will, there are so many ep left yet). And I wonder about this mysterious 'cruel' personality of him Terry. They did talk aboit him in a serious way but soon he is forgoton (ok Soo Hyun mentioned him in this ep but too short). I feel like this drama can end with the next episode since everything is solved and all the relationships between all the charatcers seem to be heading in a happy end direction, but there are 5 more episodes to come... maybe something big will happen and shake up everything and then we will see Terry :)

Jang Ha Na:

I really dont like her. Well, I don't hate her but she is just so boring... he does nothing outragious or even nothing stupid. Don't misunderstand, I hate stupid character like everyone else but at least thing are happening when a stupid character does something stupid. But in Ha Nas case she is like one of those self help groups therapist, like Seo Jin already sain, she analizes, always knows his feelings and always succeeds in comforting him...booring -_-

On the other hand I've sympathy for Lee Soo hyun now. At first and actually untill now, they made him kind of a creep or psychopath loke vilian. well yeah does have some mental issues but it kind of was clear that they wouldn't really bring in a real psychopath. And still they let him do all those 'creepy' expressions, it felt sometimes awrkward and overdone. Maybe I just can't see this actor as a bad guy or maybe this actor really can't play 'bad', I don't know. But I like how he turned out now, after remembering everything about the kidnapping he did admit his 'defeat' or 'fault' and decided to reflect on him wrongdoings. I just like him. He also felt like an actual main role, sometimes the characters in a drama should be main role but all the focus still goes to the male lead, here I felt that it was nice apportioned.

Side characters:

I've already spoke about Seo Jins father and that I actually like him now. Now it's time for this cute side 'couples' i like Seo Jins cousin. In first episode I thought the actor would have exactly the same character as in 'Birth Of A Beauty' where he wanted to enheirit the concern and acted all evil and scheming, but no! He is such a fool in here XD And this makes him cute :) Also his secretery is also not really 'evil' it obvious that she likes him and there does all kinds of things for him but he is too absessed with his 'hobby' in to pry in Seo Jins affairs so he ignores her or doesn't even notice her effetion towards him^^ but I believe at the end of this drama they'll become a couple.

This girl who was in love with Robin and the young Wonder Circus worker are another step in into becoming lovey-dovey. And in my opinion they really match well. So I'm rooting for them too.

My impressions so far...

This whole concubine thing gives me the goose bumbs... I mean on one hand it's so horrible to imagine Ga Hee becoming the Kings concubine bc he is the father of her beloved but on the other hand it's also thrilling :D It gave me a big shock the first time she was at the edge of serving the king than I was relieved that it didn't happen but now the whole topic is brought up again? It's really nerve wrecking >_< But I think she still won't become King's woman bc of the whole war thingy that's going on = no time for women XD

As to the other chracters I have to say that I love Young Shin Gwanghaes servant and Gwanghaes Wife whose name I fogot >_< bc she appears too seldom :( I find Young Shin cute at times but other times he is so cool in kicking asses :D And the wife looks like a strong intelligent and confident woman that would be able to help her Gwanhae and that I wished the main female lead would be like -_-

The 'ourabonim' character is kinda annoying bc well he fell in love with Ga Hee and is another obstacle to the relationship 8as if there aren't anough -3- ) and bc hes 'plans' are all crap! Yep, that's what I think, they are just lame. I mean siriously? He makes up a rumor of war so the government becomes afraid and traines the soldiers? Does he really think that's the only consequence if the King believes someone's gonna incade his nation? No, there'll normally be much turmoil and panik! -_-

But this last scene made it look like there actually really gonna be a war against Japanese? Or is it another lie? Don't know what'll happen , have to see the next episode I guess :D

I LOVED this episode <3

I LOVED this episode especially the beginning^^

But I don't like Tae Hees idea of changing her identity again...I'd prefer if she stays who she is Geum Ran. Sure it's understandible that she has another name now for getting revenge and all and her name also fit an avil character more witch symbolises her 'transformation' into the 'bad' woman but I hope after everything ends she'll become Geum Ran again, bc deep inside her she still is this ahjumma :)

So freakin many guys are approchiing her an she is so cruel to them! And srsly tar! haha it slowly became funny how he still didn't speak with Toie since then...Maan this series is confusing me >_< so much relashionship stress and I still can't tell who'll become a couple at the end bc they kinda keep switching. @_@

Omg, can she get more stupid?

Omg, can she get more stupid? The first thing she saw Yoon Kang she babbled 'Young Master' out and was all emotional. Why didn't she think a bit bout it. Why would he come from japan under another name? Its obviously not so that she can reveal his identity -_-

Srsly I hope she will not make more trouble for Yoon kang...but I think she will...
