Yes LYX carved his today achievement by the virtue of his acting strength and his determination to do his own dangerous stunt, on stand by 24-7, serious while filming and not going to various red carpet or filming VS, doing his own dubbing. It's his reputation and ability to carry drama that gets him to where he is. I have not seen anyone else without the support of big agency or family background that comes close to what LYX achieved today.

Teng Ping is famous for her Wuxia novel, but QJM is 12 yrs. old abandon novel with the greyest character she ever wrote. I find reading this cumbersome but continue just to see how the story goes and how TLC characters are. I think LYX took this novel bcs of the grey character, and in the hand of otter this can be a good drama, infusing Fox dragon ancient mythical stories and ancient folktale history of Shi Kuang (music saint) explaining the music and its founder. It’s a good start. They wanted to continue promoting C culture in SLY.

YTE is gone in drama, no need to discuss she is the best F character here. Feng2 mom is just so weak, she should just run away by herself and not let herself being used by both LY and TLC. M Hong had this un-healthy infatuation wt. LY that is disturbing for me. BSche sided on the wrong side, can’t really forgive those siding wt LY side. ZCJ is the most selfish and has no self-respect. LY is despicable and him turning to the good side later doesn’t erase what he did before. But one thing is sure, TLC character will be the best in the drama, after all it is ZSTC who has the largest share here and it’s LYX $.

Separating the book and the drama is best. There is so many characters, at the end it is a game of acting, whomever bring their character alive by the virtue of acting are the character worth be remembered. Not by the virtue of backstabbing and marketing. A character doesn’t have to be positive, I forget most character I watched fr drama unless they r like LYX characters - infectious. And other than him, I remember 3 characters, they all Female villains from MLC, Blue Whisperer, Ancient love poetry. For me these 3 characters and F artist whom r worth remembering, they brought their character alive and wholesome bcs of their acting. I tend to forget anyone and/or character who doesn’t have stellar acting.

Yes ttoetm wasn't finished when it was bought, then after the filming preparation the author quicky finished the novel, seems like the same thing happen wt QJM novel. Teng Ping now continue to write the novel aft abandoned it for 10+ yrs, I'm going to be so annoyed when pp compares the later part of the drama and novel cause the script is done before the novel is completed.

I agree, for non-novel reader, across MDL many pp are annoyed when novel reader trying to explain to them differently than drama, including me and I often spot you are annoyed too. I’m also non novel reader except for LYX drama out of curiosity.

Honestly I see double standard fr many novel reader comments in TTEOTM. When it is convenient they bring the bad of TTJ in the novel (such as torture/rape allegation), but left out the facts that YWX raped him and torture him first. Or how MY treated SJ when it was her and her father who sneakily trapped him into marriage, how She raped him (which pp said not raped, how if it is that reverse- misandry). And blaming MY for everything when SJ massacred the whole innocent snake clan out of hatred. Revenge yes, but the whole clan, that brought her to same level as Tian Huan. In my eyes she is no different than Tian Huan. It is her naïveté and weakness that brought doom to her clan but pp blaming MY. At least MY had the whole 3 realms on his shoulder and he should still take care of the feeling of his wife whom he is forced to get married with when ADG going to destroy 3 realms?

I expect I will see the same thing if HYX air, they obviously tone down everyone, esp CWN making him cute instead and MR more annoying. Especially in drama there is no time travel and making it confusing, while now time travel is allowed. Expect to see this when it finally airs, They ruin a great novel. 2ha is an amazing novel. TTOETM is badly written, QJM is even worst.
