I read the script, this is untamed level not more.
The script is soooo safe that it does not make sense it can not air.

My wish he gets a movie role, even if not as ML. Because Leo Team is not good enough and so far can't touch this movie circle. Only those with really good team can access the movie circle.
I hope his performance in TTEOTM let him be seen by better director. I care less abt his endorsement , but more on the hope he gets better script, better director and producers so that he can take his acting to next level.

If it is not 水龙吟, it's fake Melon, esp that Melon with Liu Shi2x. Leo gets abt 20+ casting melon yearly on average so I now learn to ignore the Melon. Wt Leo drama, if the drama had others actor before, it is 99% fake.
If it is real, you see that his fans based are approving it, if it pure click bait Melon to increase drama popularity his fans are refuting it. That's the easy way to know whether it is real or not.

If you don't know abt how it is in China, it's a blessing and better keep it that way. It's too messy, and honestly if I'm not a big fan of Leo acting, I might abandoned C drama all together.
The more I know the more I'm disappointed why how $$$ are widely used to brainwash people, reviews, videos, how many good actors wt good acting not getting good projects and those with Meh acting can't even dub themselves as long as from capital agency keep making drama and Platform keeps producing assembly line quality drama.

Sadly in China, everything can be bought, characters evaluations, views, etc and this includes Bilibili and Zhihu now. Only Douyin seems neutral. Bilibili since tencent bought it, it leans toward certain drama and artist that they support. TTEOTM Bad reviews got push to the front while good reviews is buried.

Anyway, seems like what they do works for some pp and but not on major audience who watch the drama without going to these sites which should be the majority of watchers.

Note: though out the drama, CDL team spent the most mkt, there is no days without praising her on Trending weibos, the spending is much more than FL team (whom the boss is King of Marketing – but they r saving it for SOKP mkt). Tons of articles with the same voice praising CDL and her character, yes I saw the same thing at Zhihu. But the normal audience at Douban TTEOTM discussion are pretty much the same tone here as here, albeit more critical and less playing CP.

TTOETM both has many advantages and flaws at the same time. But from what I gathered the Lively Douban TTEOTM discussion, yes overwhelming majority agreed it is LYX acting that saved TTOETM.

At this point, LYX still belongs to Traffic actors but with real strengths vs most traffic actor without strengths.
He himself answered what he thinks abt him being called Traffic actors: He said it is neutral word for him, he can use the advantage being called "popular actor" but it does not mean that he will stop learning to be a serious actor.

TTEOTM has many flaws as the link I posted above, but Youku 2M pp rating and weibo should be the benchmark of the real audience and not Douban, or the paid Videos on Bilibili.
I agree none of the characters are perfect but that's are what's so good about this drama, however I really can not find your reference abt YBC being praised much other than from the various articles that obviously the actress team bought, this is nothing new in C ent.
For example everyone saw a drama that supposed to air not airing but many articles, video, douban and weibo comment in big number praising how good the drama, the acting -Line skills for first few eps and became a laughing trending weibos because everyone knew that is the SOP of many production and artist team.

Traffic actors = popular actors with large cult followers. In China the word Traffic actor has more negative tone than positive. Generally they view Traffic actor are those who can't act and only consuming popularity to bank $.

That's why Popular actor /traffic actor that has real strengths are rare, like LYX, Zu Yi Long etc.
