Yes....trailer is better than expected.....Story is also very very strong. Both leads acting are v good, it will put to shame those overhyped actors acting skill....
At Last with TTEOTM trailer out, We get a taste of the Quality of OTTER STUDIO production.... If this any indication our Immortality is going to be HUGE.....
Now I understand Tencent fear, with HYX story and Otter production perhaps no other drama will ever top HYX for many years. Too many navy forces going to attack HYX.
Let's say which drama recently have the best casting for Leads and supporting actors like HYX.
If HYX also air this year, LYX is going to be big...but that's also a scary thing for one without capital support like him. But Tencent is going to make tons of $ if HYX air sev months after TTEOTM.
Trailer is full of spoilers….LOL Over the years, I observe Explosive Xianxia Drama (Not the most hot searched Dramas) they share important basics: 1. Excellent Storyline 2. Good Acting from ALL cast not only ML/FL 3. Good Looking actors suitable for Costume for ALL cast not only the 4 leads 4. Acceptable to Good CGI 5. Good Editing 6. Tearjerker 7. Good Costume and Make up
From Trailer TTEOTM excel wt no 1, 3, 4, 6 and 7 No 2, I’m worry abt 2nd & 3rd couple acting skill (my standard is really high), but we know Both Leads are good, the older actors are the costume God of their time, v strong config. 5. We have yet to see.
I’m talking the level of AOL and Eternal Love explosive, not LBFAD & IS or L&R. Since 2018, there is no Xianxia drama as explosive as AOL+EL, Immortality should be the one but since it has not air…I suspect TTEOTM can possibly be the next AOL and EL….Finger cross….
I read both Novel + Screenplay, for those novel reader, be ready, the script is so much more fluid and coherent. If you have not read the novel, forget it, just watch the drama. My Fav novel remains Immortality, nothing beats its storyline so far, it is the best Xianxia I have ever read & nothing to do wt BL theme.
Now: This Demon God can trample me to death….He is sooooo HOT……. Anyone notice LYX has 5 diff eye colors in the trailer, plus he is rumored to have over 50 costumes.
