Every time I see LYX being pair with actress on new drama, I always worry abt opponent acting skill unable to match his. At least here I don’t hv to worry, but will anyone here over whelmed his acting skill, I say with confidence no chance.
His character here is really hard to play smoothly from beginning to the end, producer finds him when they encounter a difficult to act character.
A good actor regardless of the plot and production quality can: - Make us believe the character is alive, breathing and memorable. - Can do their own line, not relying on Voice Actor to dub them, deliver their lines in clear standard mandarin. -Can do most of the action scenes themselves, hanging wire, dance, fights etc except for the too dangerous one.
If LYX is not good, his characters are not used as ML in over 10 thousands of video creations in Chinese Youtube.
We will hv 2 trailers, 1 min concept trailer (no plot) and 3 min official trailer. Those who saw the trailer fr brand side said: LYX is the Real Cow in costume world. BL looks good. CDL make up is v beautiful, DW handsome “Dunhuang” style for the God Realm. CGI looks expensive especially for the Dragon (Ming Ye). LYX lines is amazing for delivering such a complicated lines. It's competition between producer, platforms, capital artist agency. Better don't know, cause C ent is worst than Hollywood. Without capital support, it's hard for artist to survive let alone continue to be popular. Have you ever wonder why C ent is flooded with overly hyped artists that can not acts....let alone deliver their own lines which is their job.
