Title The Untamed
Their fighting are much more cool, i can feel from the anime, all of the characters are much more strong and feels…
Yes, all the fighting scenes, and Wei Ying is even naughtier and funnier. There are also fewer peripheral characters. The background paintings for the settings are simply superb!

drop, you've watched the better parts of the drama, it mostly gets worst after that. there are some nice shipping…
Yeah, this one is a disappointment. However, if you haven't, maybe you'd like to check out "The Untamed" and "Go Go Squid". These two dramas may worth your time better than with Novoland.

Well, not all at the same time though ... Just that, he is so weak emotionally and can be swayed here and there ... Not my cup of tea anyway.

I thought I was going to love this show but as the story unfolded I got irritated by the leads one way or another.…
You're saying exactly what I'm thinking! What a shame for such a high budget drama. They (the producers) should have made more low budget dramas like "The Untamed".

Absolutely agree with you.

Although this drama is tagged romance, romance is very limited. The relationship is more like BFF, and the male lead has had multiple relationships. So, I can only shrug.

I know this has ended already. I was stuck at 29 for a long time, I finally managed to watch a few more. Is it…
If you have nothing else to watch, may be you can continue. But I bet you'd be disappointed in the end. I was. I had very high hope in the beginning seeing all the quality production etc. But the story simply goes round and round to nowhere. Patiently I completed the drama, but love none of the characters, except, perhaps the perceived villain, Ying Wu Yi. This is a pathetic response for a drama that has invested so much resources on.

Please how is the romance in this drama? Will asuli find love and loved and be happy? I’m on ep 17 please anyone…
Romance? You'd be truly disappointed. Can't call BFF as romance, can you?

I have completely fallen in love with the anime version of this drama. Though the story is being told slightly differently, it is super good. The artwork of the anime is breath-taking. Really kudos to those artists. This anime is my cure for the withdrawal pain from this drama. But then, I know I'm going to have another withdrawal pain when I finish the anime. Oh, when is it going to end?

So basically it ended on ep 56? Ending with no closure, is it an open ending drama? I hate to see open ending…
Right, a lot of questions unanswered. No closure.

Try "Go Go Squid". I can only recommend C-dramas. I don't watch other Asian dramas which I think are equally good.

Review The Untamed
Thank you so much for your insight comparing the novel to the drama. You help plug a few of the holes I find here and there in the drama. Your review helps me understand better where certain scenes have come from, given the conditions, making me appreciate this drama even more. Thank you again.

I agree with you with the kisses. Chinese actors, male or female, tend to be pretty reserved when it comes to kissing, unlike westerners (or other Asian actors). Most of the kisses are not passionate; they are simply a peck on the lips.

I'm in love with Xue Yang's character song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfUGIo7JKVgWell... with the whole…
I didn't like Xue Yang that much (I feared him) before I heard his character song. The song is so beautiful and explains why he is what he is. I forgive him now and love the song so much. It's so sad.

Yes, this drama produces the most amazing number of beautiful sound tracks, both vocal and instrumental. I love every one of them. The vocal ones have so meaningful and nostalgic lyrics, and the instrumental ones are just heavenly. The composers should be duly commended.

An extra audio drama chapter subbed in english. LZ is such a great caring husband!! If I was a guy I would be…
Hohoho! You're so funny.

Yep, all these love and caring trump many hetero marriages and relationships. So many couples are suffering in marriages and relationships that have no love. I'd give everything to have a relationship like what Wei Ying and Lan Zhan share.

For me, I don't want to move on. I want to continue to cherish this drama for as long as I can.
Yeah, I know what you mean. I'm watching other dramas too but keep coming back to The Untamed. I'm re-watching it the 3rd time. Enjoying every moment of it, especially those cute parts with Wei Ying and Lan Zhan.

Title Novoland: Eagle Flag Spoiler
At the end of the drama when all episodes are aired, I was asking myself, "That's it?" What happens to all these other people? Who is now in charge of the Wings clan (Yu Ran's clan)? Is Jie Ye the leader and protector of the Tian Ju group after Asule entrusts him with the power? Did Princess Xiao Zhou really marry the down syndrome prince? Where is Ying Wu Yi? What happens to his daughter who is in love with Jie Ye? So many unanswered questions. There is no closure. After episode 56, I was still checking to find out if I was wrong about the number of episodes. No wonder I saw some comments online asking, "Where is episode 60?" I didn't realize it meant this until now.

Are they any secondary couples?
Yes, like Qin Liu Feng and Leng Ning, and possibly Xiao Bai and Feng Cai Cai (though it doesn't show them together totally in the drama).
