i would have NEVER used the money that my mom saved her whole life for me to live a good life just to save some…
What is the cost of human life then? what if the mom is in that bus? what if opportunity will come tomorrow and he will earn the money?
There are so many questions when faced with life and death choice that change perspective. If anything I didn't like how obvious the plot was. Of course mom brought the money in cash and gave to him the whole amount and literaly run away.
Also down the road there were even less reasonable use of huge amounts.
A bit of a venting post, sorry: Iâve been watching Dynamite Kiss and Love in the Clouds as they aired, and with that the ratings for one fell down while for the other they rose. Truly, some shows are just not great when released episode by episode, and at some point watching becomes more of a chore, which makes me sad, because I really, really loved the beginning of the show.
I sometimes rewatch Business Proposal when I need something very easy, familiar, and safe, and I was hoping that Dynamite Kiss could become that for me as well. So I really wish the screenwriter had kept up the pace and the layers in the story instead of what we got. Somehow, as the show ended, I donât even think about it, but about lost potential and the unmet expectations the show set up itself.
I enjoyed the drama so much in its Jeju and initial period, but for some reason it lost the speed and fun and silliness for me in the last episodes. I wish it was lighter and easier somehow
I am enjoying the show, I am on ep 9, but all of these blood related/not blood related conversations is weird to me. If they grew up as brother and sister and thought about each other as brother and sister for all these years becase she didn't know he is adopted, all of this backstory is unnessesary. It woudn't change anything if they were neighbours or a friends kid who they raised to begin with. There still would be tention going from childhood friends to partners without all of these blood-relations at every step. To me bother is a brother, and adopted child is a child. Why divide them into blood related and not blood related?...
I think you forgot who Pi Han Ul's family is. They obviously have the police in their pocket because Pi Han Ul…
Thank you for replying! Ga Min might not have power, but his mom is still an adult who knows how to fight and should have connections given her ocupation. I was expecting her to take at least some actions to protect herself and her child.
I know they need content for 14 ep but dont get why the FL hust confess to the ML and keep the secret. Lol seems…
Same old drame troupe: She needs a job, she can be fired if someone finds out. So basically she wants control over that information and scared of telling him.
I watched 24 eps and I got so frustrated that I dropped this drama. Ming Yi is supposed to be the heroine but…
Of course, I totally understand that this wasnât your cup of tea. Iâve started so many dramas that people love but couldnât finish due to mood or some weird reasons (like too much blood spill). Overall, Iâve found that C-dramas donât dwell on things: once the conflict is resolved, everyone just moves on. Itâs different from K-dramas, which, for me, tend to process emotions longer. I wonder if thatâs why it sometimes feels like the characters in Cdramas move on as if nothing happened. FWIW, I did see the impact of their miscommunication on their relationship. They take the time to rebuild and build better in the end.
I come from a place where I try to understand Ming Yi for not telling Ji Bo Zai about her identity and the poison.…
I agree with a lot of your analysis. I also like your take on MY taking responsibility, itâs so true. She is a warrior, and she wants to take control of her life and choices, ready to bear the responsibility for them, even if, for us as the audience, it looks like she doesnât have to.
Iâve been rewatching the drama (some scenes) after reading many of the conversations here as well. What I think happens is that there are a lot of clues from Ming Yi about her hesitation and struggle. Sheâs not fully in, and itâs clear that sheâs debating. JBZ loves her, he fell for her since the wedding and even more after she told him she cared for him in the pool. He went to his master and said something like, âFinally, someone cares for me.â But he was so jealous of MX, and therefore two things happened: (1) He missed the clues of MYâs inner struggle and thought she was torn between him and MX. (2) Because of that, he kept reassuring her and giving her time to choose, hopefully him. But since he missed those clues, he was blindsided until he finally took a step back and put two and two together. And he had a lot of clues to put things together.
For the audience, though, we know that MY is MX and that she is poisoned. So we see this relatable, in-love guy who has suffered a lot, and this strong, conflicted girl who is trying to take control. I understand why some people support JBZ and feel frustrated on his behalf. Simply because we know the truth, it feels like âwhen will it be revealed?â and sympathy for JBZ overweights understanding of MY struggles. Of course, it is my assumption if I try to put another hat on and understand other watchers. MYâs struggles are portrayed beautifully though and are very evident to me in every scene. I think thatâs why I found her choices understandable when watching the first time.
