So! The worker gets some random drink from a boss who was obviously shady the day before. Gets into their car and immediately drinks it (why?), then drives, feels sleepy, and does not pull over or stop (why?). He then gets into an accident with the white truck that was unavoidable (really?). At this point, it was harder for all the accident pieces to fall together for him to die than not to die.

- What if he gave the drink to his kid or never drank it?
- What if the police investigated this drink? (They do have to investigate the accident, right?)
- What if he ran into some pole and not the white truck?

Help me a bit with the accident logic:

I wanted to say "why woul ppl critisize So Min, can't they separate actor from character and from writing?" and then I saw the comments below. It's sad :(

oh interesting! I actually thought her character is quite different here from Love Next Door. If anything, maybe closer to Because This Is My First Life, but this was like 8 years ago.

While I think the both actors are carrying the drama, I find the plot to be very typical personally. So I understand that smth feels off.

He still seems to play clumsy and cute character in "would you marry me?" But hopefully no high school uniform.

I caught myself thinking that I do not understand the reason why Woo Shik and So Min chose this project. They both used to do much more interesting projects. Unless they wanted to take on smth easier or work with each other.

Oh, I didn't expect that :) From everything put together it seems like it either has comical side to it or is decision to make the plot move forward. I guess I will give it a try and see how it goes. The first episode was very moody, but sounds like it gets much lighter after it.

Oh wow, sounds like romance description is worth watching! Overall I noticed that this year cdramas picked up on the romance. Thank you.

I watched episode 1 after finishing Female General and When Destiny Brings the Demon. Honestly, I wasn’t impressed at all. Too much blood right after WDBtD feels overwhelming. Seeing a child in the army feels out of place, and a child being drawn to women feels even more inappropriate. I also didn’t feel invested in the plot at this point.

So my question is: does it get better, or should I drop the show and invest my time elsewhere?

Just venting on the ending in the immortal realm: So he made her kill a person despite her screaming no (which seems out of character to force her so much to do something), then they say goodbye and for 18 years there is war while he is sleaping and two main characters lost memories. That happened way too fast and not very logical.

I get that you see it differently. However, I believe standing up for oneself, especially when dealing with unfair situations, is admirable and important. Sure, contracts are part of the deal, but they don’t always account for the human element. I guess, time will tell.

Not all contract made equal and beneficial to both parties. Many many artists have faced exploitative and extremely controlling contracts. I don't blame them for wanting out.

Genuinely curious, does she not have the human right to get out of a contract that doesn't work for her?
