My biggest criticism though, goes out to our leading lady. We're supposed to feel bad for the main girl aka Rasa, but like man, I hated her so much throughout the whole drama. You can be nice to people, you don't want to be rude, but don't be stupid and let everyone step all over you. She was so goddamn weak and a huge pushover! This girl has no common sense I swear. Homegirl couldn't stand up for herself even if her life depended on it (which it did at some point). I mean I guess I felt a little bad at first but then when she just kept taking everyone's shit over and over again without defending herself, I was just done with it. Her character was just so unrealistic, over exaggerated, and the perfect epitome of what a Mary Sue is. Like she would breathe and every guy in the drama gets a boner (tbh Poo Praiya is gorgeous tho but still, it was too much). Every guy liked her. Not just every guy, but almost everyone besides the villains were at her feet ready to serve their queen. And the mean girls only hated her because they were jealous of how everyone preferred her to them, how she's close to p'ek. And all the bad guys wanted to rape her because she was hot. That's it. They either hate her because she's better than them or because they can't get her. Very one-dimensional character.
Main guy Akrin is an asshole that got off too light, do I need to say more?
What I did like though, was their chemistry. Even though this drama was all bad Thai drama cliches in one, their scenes together were pretty hot ngl, so I'll up the points for that. And I liked the opening song.

tolerable ratchetness
The characters in here were so damn ratchet. Always fighting, screaming, yelling and slut shaming every 5 seconds but for some reason, it was tolerable. But I'm not sure if it's because of the way the story was executed or just because my ass is whipped for Yaya and Mark and their presence somehow made it a little less annoying. The storyline is nothing special. It's your typical Thai drama with revenge, slap-kiss and a lot of ghettoness from girls accusing each other of stealing their man to snatching ugly weaves and throwing hands every other minute. What made Kleun Cheewit as popular as it is was the chemistry between the two leads. Yaya and Mark were the saving grace of the show and the sexual tension was undeniable! She impressed me so much playing as Jeerawat. Brought the character to life and I can feel every emotion just through her eyes. You go girl! Mark fulfilled his parts although not as impressive as Yaya, but that could also just be the character he was given to play. But damn, was he sexy! I'd have to admit that I first watched Kleun Cheewit for Mark lol. As great as they are, I gave the acting/cast a 10 also because of such great supporting cast. Louis, Toey, Nychaa, Masu, Bua and Noey (my favorite N'rai). I definitely believe these supports also made Kleun Cheewit what it is. They definitely can hold their own and they had!I don't love the music but I do like it. It goes well with the story and the vibe they're going for. Would I watch it again? Probably not. KC is very dramatic and quite heavy at times. It's not something I would be able to watch in peace if I were to grab a quick tea and wanted to put something on unless I want to deal with some ratchet cat fighting and violence.
I'll do a quick breakdown of some characters and my opinions on them cause why not:
Jee: Fucking queen. She'll give you what you give her. Treat her with kindness and respect? She'll do the same back. Act like an asshole and an insecure bitch? She won't be afraid to put you in your place. Inside, she is a broken person who just wants love.
Thit: He frustrates me. I am biased though because I really really like Mark Lmao. But Thit is such a pain in the ass. I'm not sure how he ever became a lawyer with that mindset of his. He was so damn rough and violent. After all he's done to her, he better be grateful that Jee would even give him the time of day.
Chaiyan: Idk how I feel about him. Piak and Chaiyan should just not be together. They are horrible for each other. Piak was a crazy ass bitch who couldn't stay sane for 1 sec, but Chaiyan was no saint either. He kept on doing things that would obviously trigger her. All in all, these two need to stay 6 feet from each other.
Piak: Jesus christ. She was so fucking annoying. This girl takes the word jealousy to another level. Piak seriously should've distanced herself away from everyone and indulge in some soul searching. Be alone for a while and come back when she can contain herself from going batshit.
Dao: One of the only people to hold a consistent brain cell throughout the show and such a goddamn angel. I love her! She looks out for her friends and genuinely cares about them. Puts others' happiness before hers and is just such a good person on god. She deserved better than Jate. Sorry not sorry.
Jate: As cute as he is, I hated him even more than Piak lmao. I'm exaggerating a bit but like bruh... wtf? This mf led Dao on and flirted with her hella times (at least that's what I remember. Don't come for me though cause I watched KC a while ago). If I was Dao, I would've thought he liked me too. But nahh, this bitch actually liked Jee. I hate people like this. Pick a person and stick to it goddammit. Then when Jee rejected his ass at the end, he crawled back to Dao??????????????? And idc what his excuse is. He broke Dao's heart and he's a hoe for it.
Jane: The superior sibling. This was where half of Jate's brain went to. Like others have said, her voice can be a little intolerable at times and her actions can come off a little cringe??? But she was cute and actually thought with logic and she genuinely loved Thit and let him have his happiness with Jee. She did seem more like the type of character that the show could've done without, but nevertheless still good. Her and Mark were also really cute together when they had their moments :)
KC having such a good cast is their strongest point, but it is also one of their weakest. They have so many characters and so many stories going on because they're trying to do justice to everyone, but then it just gets too much. It's like you're trying to focus on Mark and Yaya but you also have these other 5 backstories from side characters going on that are supposed to connect. It can get too much at times when you're really just trying to engage with the main lead.
Overall, KC was a good run but not something I'd come back to. Great casts though, I can't stress that enough.

a heartbreaking story
If you're looking for a happy ending, this movie doesn't serve that. But I promise you, you should still watch it because it's worth all your time. The rats aren't the disgusting ones in the film and you'll see that later on. It displays the different sides of humanity, to how cruel and wicked people can be, to what happens to even the kindest people when all hopes are lost.I am not a hard person to please. If the story line is decent and I am indulged in the movie, I will like it. The cinematography is absolutely beautiful as well. I like everything about this movie. The only reason why I gave the rewatch value an 8 instead of a 10 is because this movie is quite a hard watch, as in there are some parts that made me quite teary (also graphic). I would probably have to be in a particular mood to prepare myself to watch this.
While some people may question the demeanor change of our protagonist, I felt it was completely understandable? In a way? No, not because I'm a gruesome person, but because I can feel for him. He fulfilled what he promised to the villagers, yet, he was robbed of his payment, had his finger cut off, thrown out of the village with nowhere else to go, and then loses his son. It is pretty clear at this point he already had no more will left to live and saw no point of continuing (why he severed his remaining fingers and said he'll let the rats eat him later). Let's also not forget that all of this ties back to the curse the Shaman planted on the villagers.
Heartbreaking film, but I enjoyed it and it was well done~

an awesome ride!
warning: might contain a lil spoiler but not too muchThe show is definitely not for everyone if you cannot sit through some violence, blood, or some racy scenes, but Alice in Borderland will have you at the edge of your seat and for good reasons!
I first watched the show cause I had nothing better to do and the season only contained 8 episodes that are all shorter than an hour, so the show is very binge-able within one day. It is a good time killer, but also the kind that will have you keep wondering what's going to happen next (if you haven't read the manga, which I haven't).
AIB follows Arisu (who's pretty much the equivalent of Alice) who falls into the story's own version of "Wonderland" which is "Borderland" an empty out version of Tokyo where the only way to survive is through competing in deadly games at the risk of your sanity, friendship and all kinds of shit that will have you mind fucked. It thrives off human's selfish nature and how one will go to such an extent just to survive at the cost of others. Just when you think have something figured out, the show does a 180 and literally insult your IQ... and I kind of like that? Lol.
Our hero at first, seems like a lazy good for nothing bum who has all the right materials but isn't willing to do anything productive with his life. Even then I liked him because I felt for him in a strange way since emotionally and mentally, I knew something much deeper was going on. He hangs out with his 2 other friends who are pretty much just freestyling through life in the dark but gets to experience what happiness is when they're together. Their friendship is executed beautifully and it will make you cry ugly tears. Truly the perfect epitome of why you should not judge a book by its cover because inside, everyone is fighting their own demons. As the story progresses, you see exactly why Arisu is the protagonist. He has his heart in all the right places. He's intelligent, kind and selfless. Not once can you not see in his face that he felt guilty about surviving at the cost of others. Amazing character!
Our heroine is equally as great. She may seem a bit cold at first probably due to the fact that she's been on her own for a while and regarding her past, you kind of just grow to become numb. But even then you can tell she's a good person. As the story plays out, she learns to trust and rely on another person again and slowly, her mentality of you can only trust yourself disappears when she meets Arisu. She becomes Arisu's will to live and Arisu becomes someone she deeply care about, knowing in this fucked up place, they only have each other to rely on. I love how she's a mountain climber which really plays into her skills (it was satisfying watching her climb lol). Also love the bus scene because homegirl literally outran everyone. Kickass character.
I honestly love their chemistry. There's little to no romance in here, but even then you can tell they have that spark around each other and I love how the directors/producers doesn't force anything. You can just tell that they're starting to grow fond of each other. I hope in S2 they get together or at least hook up lmaoo.
Though if I have to complain about something, it'll have to be how Saori's character was executed. Like I said, I haven't read the manga (though I heard she was better in there) but I just hated how her character was so sexually objectified from start to finish and although she definitely wasn't an angel, girl was done so dirty. But that's for you to decide when you watch it.
but if you like a good looking cast, great storyline, great characters, intense scenes that will have you biting your nails and a couple mind fucks, what are you waiting for :)

The romance made sense to me
Each to their own opinion but I just can't fathom SooAh and Saeroyi as endgame. And while the idea of them is nice because they have history that goes way back, and how awesome would it be to end up with the one person who has been there since the beginning of your struggles. But the reality is that they were just not meant to be. And honestly, SooAh is just not ideal for someone like Saeroyi. Homeboy has been through hell and back, he has seen the darkest of the night, felt the greatest pain and losses. He does not need someone unpredictable like SooAh who if given the chance, will drop Saeroyi without hesitation if she were to be offered something of greater importance. What someone like Saeroyi needs, is loyalty. Of course Saeroyi is smart and thinks ahead, reason why he made a plan. But he was simply too vanilla (for a lack of better word) He needed someone just crazy enough to carry it out, and Yiseo was like the missing piece to his puzzle that he's been looking for all along. She was young, ambitious, and clever but most of all, she was loyal to the core. She wasn't wishy washy with what she wanted but made it clear multiple times she is dedicated to this one man and when everyone else just watched and hoped for the best, Yiseo not only fought with him, but she turned his dream into a reality! And at the same time, it also benefitted her. I know some people might feel like she does nice things only to get on Saeroyi's good side, but for a sociopath like her who before, cares about no one but only winning, to want to become better because of Saeroyi, or even just do nice things for others because of him, I think that's already pretty great in itself.
All in all, these two really complements each other. For Saeroyi, someone whose had a rough life to have someone completely dedicated by his side, and for someone like Yi-seo who lacks empathy for others, but to meet Saeroyi and just feel for this guy, his perseverance and determination, and to want to bring happiness to this dude, but also wanting to do better things because of him. Chefs kiss.
I'm also really tired of the first love = true love trope, so I am glad he ended with Yiseo. It proves that time isn't a measurement of love. No matter how long Saeroyi has known SooAh and clung onto her, Yiseo+Saeroyi proves that love is built through loyalty, teamwork, trusting in each other and having one another's back. All of which Saeroyi's and SooAh's relationship lacked even though they had the advantage of knowing each other longer.

somewhat disappointing
The main problem with Over Drive was it had too much going on and too little time to cover all these areas and so it comes out mediocre. Backstories, storyline, characters development, character explorations are all not met because within just less than two hours, it was difficult to give all these aspects their equal share of screen times. I think I would've liked the movie better if it was made into an actual drama since it had a lot of potential and about the right amount of materials to. But it falls short. Side characters are not dived into well enough that they come off almost irrelevant or having no point in being in the story (especially Endo and Masuda). There's hints of romance but there's no chemistry and the relationship growth is not realistic or explored enough so it kind of just makes you feel nothing. I could tell that the story was rushed and so was everything else. Quite disappointing because it had such a promising casts. Was this review helpful to you?
Ch7 is still living in the past
I love bashing on bad dramas so here we go. Ch7 is still living in the past. I said what I said. This type of plot and storyline is something that has been done 10000 times and should have been banished at least 5 years ago. Everyone in here annoyed tf out of me. I haven't seen all of the episodes but like fuck, I hated every single character. As much as I admire Preaw, her acting was just not selling it to me. I did like a couple cast that's why I gave it a 4.5 but other than that, this drama doesn't have anything reminiscing. The show is filled with misogyny and I just fast forward through all the cat fighting because their annoying ass screaming makes me want to put myself out of misery. It is also filled with a bunch of slut shaming and they like to put every man on a pedestal. Fucking no one in the drama has an ounce of IQ or common sense. Girls in here don't blame their cheating ass man but instead put the blame on the woman being a "slut/whore" and asking for attention. Go fucking collect your man and learn to come to term that he's just a shitty person. They portray every guy in here like some incels who's horny 24/7 and they make the girls act like their life depends on their one husband/fiance/boyfriend lol. 7 billion people in the world and you gonna cry over this one mf.
Anyways. I hate this drama and nothing makes sense. There's wayyyy better thai dramas out there so don't waste your time on this.

shut off your brain, ignore logics and you might like it
You know how you used to love Boys over Flowers and Playful Kiss back in the days, but once you actually go back to see it, you realize how little it makes sense, how much stupidity is screeching through the roof and the only way to be able to enjoy them again, is if you shut your brain off for the duration of the viewing while expecting next to nothing? Well imagine that, but 2019 version, and you pretty much get Love Alarm.I gave this drama a 4.5 and I'm still contemplating if I'm being too generous. Now, with all due respect to the original webtoon writer, the premise was great, but the execution...? Not so much. I mean, the idea behind it had so much potential and then it drove down the hill, crashed into a lake and never came back up. It turned into our everyday love triangle story. Poor girl with a tragic past, rich male lead who's a jerk, and then second male lead with a heart of gold. Like tell me something I don't know. You probably saw that I dropped this at episode 2 so now you're wondering who tf am I to judge. Yeah, except I already know everything that's going to happen and how it will all play out because I am one nosy ass bitch who likes to spoil shit for myself. Also because my younger sister finished the drama already.
That brings me to my next point, which I am pretty sure the show is as popular as it is because it targets a younger audience. I mean, I get it. Young people likes this stuff. That's why while I was sitting through the show with my 12 year old sister who titled this her favorite drama ever, me on the other hand, was suffering through the whole thing. It legit got so ridiculous that halfway through episode 2, I just decided to embrace the ridiculousness and had to mentally ignore logics for a while.
First of all, most of the characters are so unlikeable. It's not the actors fault, because if there was anything redeeming out of Love Alarm, it'd have to be the actors casted, which Kim Sohyun, Song Kang, Go Minsi, Jung Garam and Shin Seungho are all very promising... but all of their characters planked so hard. Even characters that are written to be nice are still so punchable. The only character that was genuinely likeable was Dukgu but he wasn't part of the main cast although he does play a major role in Love Alarm itself BUT if the trio we're supposed to be focusing on are as bland as a dry sponge, then what's the point?
- Jojo is utterly so unappealing as a character. Like with 0 brain cells I tell you. This girl cannot make up her mind for shit and she needs a dictionary to look up the word "No" so she'll know wtf it means so she can actually use it. Bc it's like she never heard this word in her entire life before. Because guess what... she never uses it. She is a cheater on period and it doesn't matter if her and her boyfriend didn't genuinely like each other, she was still in a relationship. Her lip mutters I don't want it, but her eyes says go for it. Jojo honestly need to to learn how to be alone and independent for once. She gets into relationship after relationship and is so indecisive, she leads people on and makes choices that makes no absolute sense. I'd honestly hate to be in a relationship with someone like her who's the definition of a noble idiot.
- Sunoh... oh boy. Where do I even start. Before I say anything, just know that I LOVE Song Kang as an actor, but Sunoh is a whole ass mess. Sunoh is simply a little bitch who thinks the world revolves around him. He is unsympathetic and an asshole. If I ever meet someone like him IRL I'd very much like to shove chopsticks up his arse. He has absolutely NO RESPECT or boundaries for Jojo's privacy. We have a word for people like him who likes to pursue other people who's already in a relationship. Yeah, it's called a homewrecker. Sunoh, to describe him in the most straightforward way, is a homewrecker. He tells Hyeyoung just because she's in a relationship doesn't mean her and her boyfriend actually likes each other? Like ok and? Bitch you ain't a mind reader, sit down. Not to mention, he actively went for someone he suspected his BEST FRIEND liked. AND THEN KISSED HER TOO? KLSSDALDAKLSDAKDSAASDO Bitch bye. Idgaf if you're trying to prove something, YOU JUST DO NOT DO THAT! It's common sense! But then Sunoh doesn't have much of it so I'm not surprised. Also, you literally knew nothing about this girl except for a few eye contacts you made with her and that your best friend likes her. Why are you acting like this girl is some angel sent from heaven with the cure for cancer. AND YALL BARELY DATED FOR LIKE A MONTH OR A LITTLE BIT MORE THAN THAT?!!! GET OVER IT! IT AIN'T THAT DEEP! I'm sorry... I'm well aware that sometimes IT IS possible but this dude legit held onto a puppy love from high school for 4 YEARS! It'd make more sense if there was more context but from how I see it, it was only infatuation and puppy love. Sorry. If you want to see Song Kang in his full potential, then just go binge 'Sweet Home', cause his character here does him absolutely no justice.
- And Hyeyoung bruh... you need to grow a fucking backbone and a spine. I honestly just don't get it, like... he never talked to Jojo before but only admired her from afar, so pretty much for most part, she was only a pretty picture. Why. are. you. so. held. up. on. her. This is what the show failed at so badly. Development, reasoning, exploration. The show did none of these. We are just expected to know Sunoh's so in love, to know Hyeyoung's so in love, to know Jojo's so in love... but why? WHY ARE THEY IN LOVE! It's like some sort of love demon just appeared one day and cast a spell on all of them. Sunoh was Hyeyoung's BEST FRIEND! Why is he hiding his crush?! To his own best friend? He treated Sunoh like some stranger he just met yesterday instead of someone he knew for years.
It's. Just. All. Very. Confusing. And. Nothing. Makes. Sense.
Sorry for the long review lmao. But pretty much, go into this show with absolutely no expectation at all and you might enjoy it. If you have even the smallest of expectations going into this, haha... prepare to be disappointed.

Gorya & Thyme = Chef's Kiss
So far so great! To be fair, I haven't watched the other renditions of F4; Korea, Japan, Taiwan, etc but I'm quite familiar with the storyline and has seen a fair amount of clips from them. The story is cliché, but a good kind of cliché, and although it's quite problematic at the root, I believe Thailand really did the series justice just from what I've seen so far, and I'm excited for what is to come. But I want to talk about the two main characters specifically: Gorya and Thyme. Man....
Gorya: What an absolute complex and amazing character she is. So precious and really easy to like. She isn't made out to be the savior of the day, or over the top exaggerated in comparison to the other versions. No. She's realistic in the sense that you can understand and feel for the choices she makes. At the beginning, even though she's aware of the bullying going on, she chooses to blindside it. Because that's what 99% of us would do. Knowing the extent F4 goes to, it's only common sense she did what she did to avoid inconvenience. But what makes her great is she stands up when those close to her are in trouble, and even better, she persist through hardships when she's the one being targeted. Her humble upbringing, the pureness she radiates when she's with Ren, and her view on the world is what solidifies her as a flawed, yet perfect character, and the series does a great job of portraying her vulnerable side, while also showing us she's just trying to make the best of her situation.
Thyme: Where do I even start, haha. Well, he's an ass BUT the show did such an awesome job at bringing out his character and his conflicts. Bright as an actor as well, killed this role. You can see it in his eyes and his facial expressions about everything he's feeling at the moment. He's pretty much like a man-child that's had everything handed to him on a plate but at the same time, he's also so clueless about the real world. His reaction to the kiss, and the fact that he doesn't know what to do about his first crush, is adorable Lmao. Thyme is a character that you really need to focus on his body language; then you can tell everything about him. You can see when he feels guilty about something: that dinner scene with his mom and the maid, the way he gives Gorya an option to back out although he told her to cut her hair, you can see he didn't actually mean it, and that makeover scene when he offered all those luxuries to Gorya, to which she commented "You're giving me all this stuff because you actually feel bad." which rings true because his eyes tell it all Lol. He's such an interesting person and I'd love to see how the writers will go on about his character in the future. Everybody raves about Ren, but Thyme is so much more exciting XD
Also, just have to add that the song Who Am I is thebomb.com. It fits the drama to the T and I feel like I've ascended to heaven every time I listen to it.

Usually I stray away from period/historical dramas, but I wanted to give this one a go for my boy Mario and his pairing with Kimberly since this would be their first. And let me just tell you that I was not disappointed at all! I enjoyed the story line because I think it was unique and different from the cliche aspect most dramas like to take, but with that being said, it also still contains just enough of them, because hey, we all love cliches. When I first read the synopsis before watching, I was really curious on how they could make a drama about someone wanting to become a doctor interesting, and boy, did they do it! Seriously, this drama has the perfect amount of comedy, drama, romance, and moments where you also get a little teary.
I absolutely adore Thong Ake's and Chaba's characters in here. Thong Ake is goofy, but intelligent, kind, and sincere. I have a soft spot for Chaba's character because I feel like I can relate to her a lot growing up lol. She's stubborn and persistent but all for the good reasons. She does what she wants and doesn't let some stupid gender roles define her. All of their scenes after their marriage was swoon worthy. I just love how cheesy they are, and you can tell how much they love and care for each other. I go back to rewatch their lovey-dovey scenes a lot.
The villain was also caught early and was out of the main story a lot sooner than most, which I really like, because for god sake, I hate it so much when dramas drag their story about a villain, and they waste like another 4-5 episodes for it. After the villain is gone, the plot was focused more on the main characters and their struggles surrounding their circumstances (which is good) rather than trying to eliminate someone they should've caught like 4 episodes ago.
Now onto some criticism I have about the drama, although there isn't that many, but I felt as if though Kla's and Pong's relationship could've used some more building up. Their romance felt very rushed and forced in a way. They only had a couple scenes together before and suddenly they're already in bed with each other? Very unrealistic, although I could understand it was more of a "in the moment" kind of thing, but still, it had so much more potential. Kla was also very on and off towards Pong. Like bruh do you like her or not? I also do not like how they replay some funny clips. I understand it's a comedy thing, but then seeing it for the second or third time takes away the funny factor.
Also like rqueen said, Margie's and Nichkun's appearance was very unnecessary and served no purpose, at least for the story, but I guess it was nice seeing them as guests.
Other than that, I strongly recommend it! You will not be disappointed! There is never a boring episode, and every time an episode ends, it always leave you wanting to know more about what will happen next!

and that's on toxic relationship
I don't know why the ratings on here isn't as horrible as I thought it should be. The male lead is an abuser on period and the relationship is toxic asf. I am not surprised though as that's Thai dramas for you, but still... the male lead just makes me want to reach my hand through the screen and bitch slap him. I admit I haven't really watched it but rather I lurk through clips and a few videos etc etc, but I can already tell every single character pisses me off.I saw this scene where the main girl was hurt and the guy was a saint for like 3 seconds but snapped back to bitch mode right after he finds out she might've been with another guy? Like tf? Bipolar ass. Make up your mind.
I give points for the casts because I actually really like Film, Koy and Panjan.
But yeah no, Kade ain't no knight in shining armors. He's the type of person you need to stay far far away from irl.
Fah's character made me lose my remaining nonexistent braincells. Like jesus, learn how to freaking stand up for yourself.
