In other words they wouldn't be able to open a project like TPOB as the 1st billed or attract investment, or get an in-demand director like Dengke to cast them. SZE (before her tax hooha anyway) was able to do it because she was a child actor with a lot of acting experience under her belt, similar to Angel Zhao or Yangzi.
