What do you think, guys? Is this drama worth watching? I loved The Legend of Shenli, as it was my first and only xianxia drama since I steer away from them due to the lingering heartache and sadness they cause. Usually, xianxia dramas have sad and last-minute open endings that don't make sense. So, do you think I should watch it?

Just as you are trying to counter-argue my opinion, I was similarly trying to counter-argue some opinions regarding the shipping of Grace and Dong Hee. If I were being judgey, I wouldn't have acknowledged it as a personal issue and would have used more logical arguments to counter your point. I agree that not all opinions have to be shared, but MDL is a platform where people share their thoughts and opinions regarding dramas. So, when I see something I don't connect with, I justifiably try to counter-argue it.

It’s not that I only support healthy relationships; I’m drawn to relationships where the individuals grow and become more compatible over time. In this case, though, Grace trying to harm Dong Hee even unknowingly without any valid reason just isn’t my cup of tea.

Yes, you are right. As for Da Hae only discovering her son's powers when he is 5, maybe it's because Bok family children only show their powers when they are 5 years old. I remember it was Ina's 5th birthday (Accident Day) when we first saw her using her telepathy powers.

I don't know, man. The beginning of DDH and BGJ was not a normal one either, but they at least had character development where they became better versions of themselves. DDH was only conning them and not harming them like Grace did to Dong Hee twice, even knowing that if she was wrong about Dong Hee being able to fly, she would be dead. I also didn't see much character development in Grace that makes it right for us to ship her with Dong Hee, despite their abundant chemistry.

Yes, but just like the accident that took his wife's life, where he was unharmed after coming from the past, maybe if he returned under the heavy rubble, he would remain safe.

I don't know why you guys are even shipping Grace and Dong Hee when she tried to kill her, even if it was accidental, two times without a single apology. And don't get me started on how Grace and her family tried to scam the Bok family. No chemistry between the characters can ever make up for the harm done by Grace.

But if it really did happen, then which Gwi Ju did he bring back from the past, and how is it not creating a butterfly effect?

I understand your frustration, but I think it's important to remember that not all fans behave the same way. It's unfortunate that you've received slurs in private messages, and that's completely unacceptable. However, just because some 'My Demon' fans are downvoting other dramas and mentioning 'My Demon' elsewhere doesn't mean all fans are responsible. Let's try to keep the conversation respectful and focus on discussing the dramas themselves.

Maybe to you, it didn't seem like there was a plot and the acting was atrocious, but to me, the acting, especially from the FL and other supporting characters, was good. While the ML left much to be desired regarding his acting, as he wasn't able to emote well in sad and emotional scenes, he was good too. I don't know about fans of 'My Demon' hate-commenting on other dramas because I haven't seen it yet. Rather, I have seen the haters of 'My Demon' still camping on its comments page, posting hateful and mean comments on every positive thing said by users about the drama. I have seen much worse dramas than that, like the recently released drama 'Hierarchy'. I wasn't even able to watch the first three episodes as it was just plain bad, with a poor screenplay and a common plot like other high school dramas, which wasn't even done in a unique way. The only thing I liked about that drama was its cinematography.

I don't know why it gets so much hate as it is one of my favorite dramas. While the plot leaves much to be desired and includes some copied scenes and plots from other dramas, the chemistry and natural skinship between the leads more than makes up for it for me.

Oh, so that's why. In the first two episodes, I thought we were told that he can only go to his happy moments. I just hope it has a happy ending. Anyway, thanks for the reply, Precious. Happy to see you here after QOT.

I just started the drama, and I don't like Bok Dong Hee and Grandma Bok very much. They are so annoying; I don't like anything about their characters. Do they redeem themselves, or do they remain the same throughout the drama?

You can watch it. It isn't a sequel to any drama but rather has two different spin-offs that will be released afterward, featuring different main characters while sharing some similar supporting cast members.
