Title Miss Pilot
Actually Tezuka Haru is the only character in drama I don´t like...and it´s a writer´s mistake...sorry, but…
I won't say characters express their feelings by telling all the time instead being shown visually (such as nonverbal play and slightly more intricate dialogue) is realistic. I bet you'd hardly find someone spitting everything inside his/her mind like what happen in this drama (especially Tezuka and Oda), moreover it's Japan where verbal communication is not as abundant as other cultures.

I agree with you, the seniors are very-well portrayed, it's like coming out of the reality. Perhaps one last thing intrigued me is a relatively young pilot like Kunikida does pilot-in-command role instead of First Officer on a widebody aircraft. It's a rarity in real life AFAIK

Hey,you've just completed Saito-san 2. What's your thought about it? I guess you master Japanese, aren't you? The subs are on episode 6 and have been released in snail pace (but another subber has retaken it)

I envy you, wish I could learn more Japanese :(. Kei Tanaka and the others look too old to play middle school kids but I find it very funny LOL

Based on the comments on you profile, you are fluent in Japanese, aren't you? I heard you're watching No Con Kid, what's your thought about it? I keen to watch this drama, the 1st episode is hilarious, but so far has no English subs

anything similar anywhere? That's beyond genius and hilarious!
Perhaps Moteki? They share the same directing style

Yes you're right, I'm doing fine :). J-Drama scene experiences a quality decline indeed in the last 8 years or so, I blame it to dismal regeneration of scriptwriters and blatant use of idols and overpushed the so-called "actors". You might easily find dramas that are badly written and defy logic while it should be handled in more proper and logical way. However hidden gems do exist and that's what I'm looking for.

Is it French miniseries that bad? I don't know about it but in my opinion it is pretty obscure and not internationally known

Haven't watched Suzuki Sensei the movie, I wonder why the English subtitles never comes up. Based from a colleague who masters Japanese, it's pretty good but I won't believe before seeing it.

Exactly, the entire idea of their discussion is far too complex to be made into a "solid" conclusion. I also feel pity to Kanda, but sometimes even a good process has to sacrifice someone.

Yuusha 2 is indeed a good idea, if you enjoy the first one, you'll enjoy this one too
