they better not ruin the romance It would not be the first time kdrama has insane chemistry and then the next…
I mean big bro little sis has essentially been their dynamic for two seasons. Yes they flirted with blurring the lines a little in S2, but there's def more work to do for most people to buy romance.
Seems I made the right call dropping this after 2 episodes. It smelled of mid copypasta from the outset. But as long as people keep eating this up, we'll keep getting bland low-effort romcoms with poor writing.
I preferred the previous English title "Wife of a 21st Century Prince" even if it was just the literal translation of the Korean title. It had more personality. "Perfect Crown" is so bland.
Weird, rating so high but still I see so many people disappointed with this one? I enjoyed it a lot. Even the…
It was a massive global success, and any drama with a lot of viewers (and a lot of hype) inevitably brings a lot of people with differing views to various comment sections. Not very surprising.
Based on the write-ups so far it seems the focus will be on the two male leads actually. Sure, there will be romance, but that seems secondary to the dynamic of the two men, whose story of friendship and rivalry through the years forms the core of the drama. I think the title even refers to the two of them (their four hands playing the piano).
I sort of hope he rejects this. It sounds too similar to other recent kdramas and I'm tired of the shaman stuff like let's do something else instead please.
I’m still confused whether it’s confirmed or not, there’s nothing from billions side
It's not officially confirmed by the actors, their agencies or production as far as I've seen, so I'm not sure why the edit to add them here was approved. But since it's about to start production I assume the information is accurate and will be confirmed relatively soon.
I have mixed opinion on her. She is only good for resting bxtch faced roles. She was bad in both wedding impossible…
You're right. I thought she was excellent in Burning, but then her performance in Wedding Impossible was probably one of the weakest I've ever seen from such a high-profile actress.
What makes you think that... comedy is literally the genre.
I think it's worth entertaining. A lot of the recent articles use "romantic drama" instead of "romantic comedy" and my impression from everything I've seen from the filming and the vibe of it, it seems like it will lean more drama than comedy.
Then again, a lot of romcoms lately have leaned more dramatic, especially in later episodes, so maybe this is just another case of that.
Interesting, seems CYW may have chosen this instead of the Netflix drama from the CLOY director he was considering. Unless he'll be able to do both? Ahn Pan-seok is very fast, but maybe not that fast.
Choo Young-woo seems to have been cast in the new Ahn Pan-seok drama with Kim So-hyun as well. I'm not sure how he'd be able to do both these dramas, so maybe he ended up passing on this one 👀
