I still feel like this will be released eventually, but it’s probably smart to take some time to figure out the best way to do that without irking sensitive Koreans. Maybe 2027.
Great choices! Jin Ki Joo was charming opposite Seo Kang Jun in Undercover High School and it's about time Kim Sung Cheol returned to romance after Our Beloved Summer, finally now as ML.
One thing I realized about the actor Hong Min Ki…in this role he gives resting b face all the time and it’s…
I agree, and I wrote a post about it here a while ago. He has a lot of potential, but he also has a lot to learn, especially in terms of emoting/varying his facial expressions. I get that he is all tsundere and is hiding his feelings because of the family he was born into, but skilled actors are able to portray nuance within that particular type of role which he is not currently able to do.
Sounds like a great project, based on a very popular book. Selfishly I wish he would do a network drama instead so it could premiere sooner, because OTT dramas always take forever to come out ðŸ˜
It will be really surprising to me if they release all 22 episodes at once. I kind of expected that Netflix would split this in two parts. Maybe they'll end up doing something similar to WLGYT? Who knows.
Yep, they've not "issued a statement" but rather just responded to a question from a reporter about the release date, saying it's not finalized (unsurprisingly when it's a Q3/4 release).
It's been almost two years and no drama has taken over my life like this one since then. Extremely watchable, with memorable characters and a perfect OST. Like any drama, it had its flaws (we didn't need the childhood connection and the final stretch is a bit messy), but I will remember it fondly!
Sounds like a lot of speculation. The only thing they know is that he has a corporation, which a bunch of actors do? Everything else is like *if* he funneled income into it or *if* it's a shell company. It seems different than Cha Eun-woo's cirucmstances where there's a specific amount to account for, and several companies that have strangely changed addresses and can't supply proof of services.
Maybe someone's trying to avert attention away from the golden boy and face of Korea?
