Well Genie Make a Wish was by *thee* Kim Eun Sook and was still garbage that flopped, so the screenwriter alone is rarely enough.

If this weren't Korea, just releasing it would be a non-brainer. Like why should the acts of one actor many years ago adversely affect an entire cast and crew plus everyone who has been waiting for this drama. Not to mention the hypocrisy when so many rapists and creeps have no issue finding work in Korea.

What a mess this has been. But who knows, maybe Kim Jae-won will have his moment.

Not strictly true. WLGYT was released with four episodes for four weeks, and other originals like The Glory and Gyeongseong Creature were split into parts. But usally 12-episode originals are released all at once, and so will this one be, it seems.

I think it's meant to be small-scale. It's a comedy. It's not Moving. And I think the VFX style lends itself to the tone. But it could be better, I guess.

For those wondering why Ju Ji-hoon is not listed second here as per the official billing order released by Disney, apparently MDL does not follow this (unlike every other site) but instead it just operates under the assumption that Lee Jong-suk will play a more central character, thus keeping him second.

It'll be decent counter-programming to Stranger Things, and besides ST is just 3 episodes on Dec 25, so people will still have plenty of time to watch Cashero over the holidays as well.
