Looks like this will follow Would You Marry Me? which premieres in October. The premiere for this being on Nov 21 seems like it still may be accurate then.

He was available last-minute and had just worked with Yoona's previous drama partner, Lee Jun-ho on Cashero, so it's probably not that complicated. LJH sent him a coffee truck on the first day of shooting, so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a recommendation involved there.
So weird to announce it for August and then just not release it, without saying anything about why it’s being delayed.
Weak Hero Class 2 was originally slated for January but there they at least had the sense to not announce it early so most people had no clue and then it came out in April.
I’m still guessing that Soul Mate will come out before the end of the year but the delay combined with the vagueness about queer vs. bromance is testing my patience (yes Netflix tweeted it’s a romance but they also tweeted it would release in August—and the lgbtq and romance tags are gone from the app).
I think this could be fun if they lean into the comedy a bit (which the trailer suggests they might). If they try playing it entirely straight, it will fall flat and feel cringe. Will for sure check it out at least.
