Really enjoying this so far! Confused about the comedy tag, though? Sure there are some light comedic elements related to her being his fan (secretly now), but I wouldn't characterize the first 4 eps as comedy.
It seems Choo Young-woo has confirmed his appearance in this: "I plan to participate in director Lee Jung-hyo's 'Long Vacation' from March." There will apparently also be overseas filming for this drama.
This has only ever been referred to and marketed as bromance. Unfortunately, fans of BL don't seem to understand that men can be close friends (and rivals) without wanting to kiss one another 🤣
In addition to filming Love Doctor now, it seems he confirmed he's going into Long Vacation filming from March. It's also rumored that Trauma Code will film S2/3 in the second half of 2026. He'll be busy!
Chaemin won Rookie of the Year at the MBC Drama Awards. Not the last one of those, I imagine. He will almost certainly be up for the same award at Baeksang and Blue Dragon Awards next year. The latter is for streaming series, but they'll get around that easily by just nominating him for Cashero (just like he won for Crushology 101 at MBC). But everyone of course knows BAYM was his big break this year.
Teaser looks very promising. If this were simulcast on Netflix I think it would definitely blow up globally. Still might end up doing so of course, after all BWS's Lovely Runner did not need the Netflix boost.
And that is okay, because everyone who is watching a drama has the right to make comments about it whether these…
Being able to do anything freely is great for those who value democracy and freedom of speech. Whether this constant negativity is healthy or beneficial in any way is a different story though.
But it's interesting to see a different perspective from someone who doesn't see this rampant online negativity and increased polarity as signalling a greater issue. The good thing is that those who are turned off by this endless barrage of vitriol always find new spaces to congregate (until they too are overrun by the grumps and the cycle repeats).

I'm actually not sure how okay it is in the greater scheme of things that most places online have become so negative - in fact I think it's detrimental to us as a society. But of course everyone has the right to share their thoughts as they wish.
It seems clear at this point that MDL can't really be trusted. I don't know if it's the general sense of misery that's pervasive on the Internet that's taken hold here, but the comment sections are always full of people complaining (for every drama). Even when a 7.9/8.0 rating suggests most people really liked it.
But there's definitely been a shift on here the past couple of years in terms of positivity vs. negativity. Some like to say "oh the quality got a lot worse lately", but I don't really think that's the case. If older beloved dramas had been released now, I think they would have received the same negative treatment.
Christmas rewatch and I've adjusted this up to 10/10. On my first watch I struggled a bit with the time skip but this time everything flowed well and the ending is just perfect.
