With how well this drama is doing, itâs expected to hit "double-digit ratings" by episode 3 or 4 this…
Worldwide popularity doesn't always translate into double-digit ratings on terrestrial TV, but it has a good chance considering how it went up from 4.9% to 6.6% on tvN from Ep1 to Ep2.
Confused about how Twelve had a "strong" start after falling 27% from episode 1 to episode 2, while Bon Appetit, Your Majesty had a "decent" start after rising 34% from episode 1 to episode 2 and overtaking Twelve, as well as delivering the best tvN weekend drama ep 1-2 ratings of the year đ€Ł
No, the reception is great. Just trolls downvoting it. Been happening to kdramas all year. Even When Life Gives You Tangerines started out in the 7s because of it. It should normalize soon.
I like her acting here, if the first ep doesn't suit you then try something else
I found both her comedic timing and her chemistry with Chaemin great, so I think the only people who could have issues would be those who didn't like her to begin with.
"Lee Chae-min embodies the image of an absolute monarch with his strong eyes and firm vocalization, while delicately depicting the human side shaken by trauma and loneliness, completing the tyrant Lee Heon as a three-dimensional character. Furthermore, the-for-tat chemistry created by working with Lim Yoon-ah, who plays Yeon Ji-young, and the various emotions behind the tyrant's ruthlessness were naturally brought to life, doubling the charm of the character.
Lee Chae-min, who established himself as a next-generation actor by showing off his youthful face in his previous work, proved his expanded acting spectrum through this 'Tyrant's Chef'. His ability to perfectly integrate into the character in the first broadcast alone by filling in the majesty and humanity of a tyrant in detail was enough to confirm his growth as an actor and turn viewers' expectations into confidence." Everyone doubted him and he proved them all wrong in *one* episode đ

Best Ep2 rating for a tvN weekend drama since Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born!
