I know MoNan is getting a lot of hate but honestly....I love the character.. I only watched until episode 32 so…
I have a really different picture of Mo Nan.
I was indeed happy when I realized that he thought about her happiness first, and that he chose to stay in the shadows to not make things complicated for her, but I find it really really unfair for him to think that Bo Hai is mistreating Qi Qi just because he rejects her.
Let's imagine for a sec that Bo Hai wasn't in love with her, than it would still be his right to reject her and he did it very fair until now, nobody can do anything about the fact that Qi Qi is so obsessive.
But we know that Bo Hai loves Qi Qi and his reason for rejecting her is that he is honestly scared due to a trauma. I mean as dumb as it kinda seems, you cannot judge someone for being honestly scared to hurt or get hurt in a relationship.
Mo Nan is being unfair because he knows that Bo Hai is scared of fire, not only scared but that it is connected to his past issue. The whole scene where Bo Hai couldn't save Qi Qi was just really dumb because, sorry that no everybody can be a firefighter. Especially knowing what held Bo Hai back, eventhough he really wanted to save her, makes it even more sad. After that Mo Nan told him that Bo Hai is not worthy of being with Qi Qi since he couldn't protect her, but now that Bo Hai is actually rejecting her thus that, he is mad at him?
I really think Mo Nan is all but not selfless, and it's not beautiful to have an identity that just relies on destroying other companies for the own benifit.
this drama will be the death of me omg should I spoiler myself - should I not? how to wait for the next ep? should I watch it raw - should I wait for subs?
I really wanted to keep it to myself but I can't be the only one that kinda doesn't enjoy MiKa singing. I mean she is not bad but somehow I really don't like it.
i want to hate him but at the same time i cant lol,,
the only reason I can't is because I ship him with Bao Ni but then again she is too good for him. but all his scenes are either being oblivious to Bao Ni's feelings or just these repetitive talking scenes with his secretary-villain
Just once in a while I want to leave a comment about how bad this drama is, how awful all the characters are and how much I hate it.
It's not even the fashion that is bad, it's really the characters. All of them. No development, no common sense, no reasoning. It's been six years since I watched this and to this day I remember way too much of it, just because its bad impression carved itself a deep hole in my heart.
I am honestly confinced that this drama shouldn't be more than maybe a 6.5 and that people only rate it high for the nostalgia.
I love all of this. I keep saying that the characters are soo important. there is a reason why My Mister is currently the best rated drama, it's because the characters were so real, so humane, they all had their struggles and their goals. You may like dramas that have flat characters but you won't ever really connect with them.
I need characters that learned something in the end, I want to learn with them. That is why I desperately hate Boy Over Flowers and I really don't get how others enjoy it. The Heirs was a bit better but I definitely agree that the female lead really had no motivation. I guess she wanted to just be left alone but well...
I'll hope you have fun enjoying it. It may not be my thing but medical dramas are popular for a reason. :D Also, it's not like I hate every medical dramas. I think I watched like two or three of them.
I personally love the "cheap" CGI, I don't know why they are always complaining. I feel especially xianxia dramas…
Yeees. It looks so beautiful. I think Eternal Love was rather subtle with their CGI. I really only remember the foxes and that thing the firer emperor was imprisoned in. I really cannot wait for this to air, feels like I've been waiting forever.
a woman with ovulation pain
another woman scared of male abuse
homosexuality
we really here to get real up and front

I love character development so much, it's crazy.
