It is the problem of the actress, i think. She is not a bad looking actress but the problem is with her acting…
yes, for what his plot is, the romance part is really unecessary. I am actually not a fan of childhood romances. especially not if they haven't seen each other for over a decade. I don't really see the appeal in it.
Just finished episode 32. Not sure if it's the actors acting out their roles or if it's the actors themselves…
I don't need the doctor to have any kind of romance plot tbh. but I am not surprised, Yang Mi easy builds chemistry with almost everyone in my opinion.
I can't be the only one that dislikes the Elder Statesman's daughter ugh. I really would like to get rid of her because I want the brothers to bond and not to fight for some girl. Also, how come she recognizes the Doctor because he was playing the flute and wearing white but she would not recognize his little brother with whom she grew up??? logic??? And what kind of bitch move is that to put someone through a painfull allergic reaction just because you asked once and he denied. Seeing how she knows that his whole family was murdered, can't she have some common sense and think for why he won't blow his cover if she is so convinced that it is him??? Furthermore, she was way too young back then, her whole memories of him would be blurry, if not gone by now. As a child in that age you are not going to develop a love that last 15 years. maybe some kind of yearning for a brohter but not that romantic love. I like to add that their childhood memories show no resemblance to the Doctor now and I am not talking about his looks because whe know that's not how it works in dramas anyway. I am talking about his playfull, happy self - have you looked at the Doctor? nobody in this drama looks more unhappy then him. ( tho that's a given considering his past) And don't let me start on his little brother. I know that it's not easy for him but he really didn't spare any thought at how his brother was living the last 15 years. I really hope that talk woke him up.
I stand by all of these words, but I also know I dislike her enough just for getting between the brothers. I don't hate her but it's a strong dislike for the role as for now.
Often there are just too many mistakes done, mistakes non-medical people wouldn't do, diseases are really badly portrait, people get some kind of surgery and bam they are healed, or people die eventhough they couldve survived, but the worst is, that the plot mostly seems to be the same. There is always some guy who wants to become hospital director, has his V.I.P's and undertakes some money, while the lead is righteous and ruins all the plans until he is almost fired. Then there will definitely be some gossip, and I bet with you there will be a scene from a surgery where blood splashes into their faces and it won't get removed. a medical drama has all the clichés if one surgeon has some problem with his hand, ah and someone definitely wants to take revenge for a death due to malpractice.
That said, this looks like I hate clichés but it's just with medical dramas. They are just not my cup of tea. I generally dislike dramas about power struggles, so this one just doesn't look right for me.
u should watch. it's really an emotional/sweet/revenge drama but avoid driggy moments lol but as for storytelling…
I already dropped it. too hyper fantasy for my taste and the acting is also not really to my taste. but thanks anyway. maybe someday I'll pick it up again.
I just gotta say that the story development so far is really really good. We slowly get to know the characters and their ambitions, their history is getting revealed, relationships form and end. All of this simultaneously without it ever getting boring.
