I am just kinda ... disappointed. For someone that digs romance plots, I really wished for more BROMANCE instead. Also the romance plot is very weak and don't judge me but I just cringe every damn time I see her haircut. I just cannot take my mind off it. It even hunts me in my dreams. I really wanna like Cha Do Ha but her character is really not that appealing to me. I really rarely dislike female leads that much (and it's not bc of the hair, I saw worse) and I don't know how to handle it.
I think everybody except Mo Seung Jae (who wants to win politics and eliminate his wife's ex so she can finally forget about him) misses a clear goal. Nobody is really pursuing anything (or did I miss that?).
I don't wanna compare it to Healer plot-wise just because they both are action-romances with though fighting male leads but it's there in the recommendations. The great thing about Healer and probably why it is so popular is because the characters all had a clear "goal" and "dream" they wanted to achieve (though I think a lot of people only subconsciously realize that). Even if it is something as banal as wanting to buy his own island but you had a reason for why characters did certain things, why they didn't quit or even started.
I need to know what the leads want for their future. I wish Kim Seul Woo had at least a dumb reason for being a ghost agent, and I wished Yeo Woon Gwang was less popular, maybe had an actor rival and wants to reach the top to kind of take revenge on his ex; and Cha Do Ha ... I don't know, maybe earn a lot of money so she can ship off her father to neverland.
If I missed any goals of the characters please feel free to tell me. I need to know if I missed something.
So funny how I didn't see anyone hating Kim Seol Woo for being such a jerk (I know he has his reasons but…
I do dislike Cha Do Ha for her haircut a lot but I can honestly say that I also doesn't like her character very much. I don't even know how to describe it. She is just kind of ... delusional (not in the romance part bc apparently he does like her now) and she acts very awkwardly for my taste and she is also either raising her voice or whispering weirdly.
I like Seol Woo because for his character set up he didn't do anything that I thought was wrong, even playing with her feelings. I mean, that may sound cold but he is a ghost agent for the country - if its her feelings for the world, I really don't mind.
I hope they don't hype this again and bring everybody's hope up and then ruin it like Uncontrollably Fond or start great and then kinda repeat everything like W (though this one was still great).
It's been long since I was so happy with the paired lead couple. I just think they look so good together. because you know I love Yoona but I don't think she looked that great with JCW there was just sth that told me nope. but not here. just loving this and it will be so painful to wait for another ep why am I doing this to myself (sings in beyonce voice)
It was lit. Though I love Yoo Seung Ho I ladore Kim So Hyun even more. I'd check out everything she is in…
Well the reason I dislike the second female lead is not because I am biased but because who just trespasses a forbidden garden only the prince is allowed to enter? I mean she went in there without even thinking twice and then she treated him as a servant and then she picked him with that little needle ... like .... and how creepy was that matching needle wound she made herself? TF? and then she fell in love with him ... the base of her love is already very superficial and I can already tell that she is a very childish and naive character.
But I only dislike her character, I really like Yoon So Hee and she was super adorable with L but I'd probably wouldn't mind if she dies later on if her behavior doesn't change.
That said I'm gonna watch the next ep now.
I cannot believe that I only now noticed that Gao Vengo plays the second lead I absolutely despise .... omg I also thought he was really ugly..... so how did I fall for him so much in Eternal Love? just how?
I may be the only one but I think this is way better than Kill Me, Heal Me.
Glad I am not the only one. KMHM was funny and I enjoyed it but I thought it was soo all over the place and Secret just had me from the first episode. I was so sucked in into the plot and their acting I finished it literally in one sitting.
I am really surprised that this ones gets so much hate because personally I really liked it. Yes it wasn't perfect but most dramas aren't. For me it's a drama that continuously got better and I also liked the leads together even if their chemistry was cringey at times. I think that's because Joy was very shy but I saw how she got more comfortable, also her acting got better the moment she was done with her Rookie promotions. I hated almost every character at some time but in the end I learned to love them all as well. Its strongest point was that all the important characters had depth, nobody was perfectly good or perfectly evil, that's what I liked the most.
Storywise I'd say that it is very satisfying because you really get what you want at the end.
I am already sure that this won't have a happy ending. I just know it for some reason. If I am, however, wrong I will be very glad and very very thankful.

They make a really good pair I'd say. very good looking people.
