When Ji Wook was flirting with Bong Hee in the elevator my heart literally skipped a beat and I stopped breathing for a moment without realizing. My chest still kinda hurts.
I guess the reason why Ji Chang Wook is publicly single is because no women can survive his charm. I seriously don't know how anybody, no matter the gender, can keep looking at him without failing some basic reflexes. He is so handsome that he'd blind me and cure my eyesight at the same time.
Honestly I'd rather talk about the good acting and not be thirsty instead but I just can't help myself.
This drama has me shook. I am really just squealing in excitement the whole time.
I wish this had 40 1-hour episodes, I wish this was a daily drama.
That's why I always say: Don't rate something unless you are completely finished with it. only if completed or dropped, but if you are still watching, put it on-hold or worse: still only plan to watch it, don't rate it.
wouldnt they look old-styled then? the "second generation chaebol" will hold an old phone =P
Second generation chaebol only means that he is not founder of the company but that the chairman/woman passes their position to him. He is probably some kind of lost grandson.
It's not the same like second generation idol :D lol
Also, Yoo Jung seems like a tragic character to me. Like literally if you just admitted to your wrong doings and…
I agree. When JiWook rejected BongHee's confession and also when he was talking with his mother, you could just see how he is still wounded by that betrayal. It left him scared to trust people, to try new relationships and to fall in love and when YooJung just suddenly came back and acted as if he HAD to accept her shitty apology because she still loved him and whatever, my blood began to boil.
I mean so far she isn't that bad of a character, but I think her behavior is so shameless.
The reason why I and JiWook can - or maybe already did - forgive EunHyuk is because one can clearly see his effort to redeem his wrongdoings. He knows he was at fault but he also immediately reflected on them and apologizes daily by staying at JiWook's side, to let him know that he is the most important.
Whereas YooJung just excused her cheating a** and went abroad or whatever and know believes she even has the right to get back with our hero. Hell No!
that hug and kiss though, the thing i loved about it most was that it was so soft,so calm , usually in dramas…
I was thinking the same thing. just notice how the gentle music fades out when he touched her face and then you kind of witness the kiss in complete silence and you can only hear your own heart beat. As if you are kissed yourself.
This is exactly the directing style I absolute love because in most dramas kisses always have really loud (but nice) OSTs playing but sometimes I think silence says so much more. It portrays BongHee's feelings because I am damn sure all of her 5 senses were completely directed at him.
Can someone explain the karen li part how did she become karen li?
After the evil grandma gave her the money and she promised to not be with Gu Jin Yun, she went to America to study. I think she was around 16 or so and she was already very talented that's why she had immediately success in the fashion buisness. But through out it all she never let anyone take a picture of her face so that's why until now nobody knew who Karen Li was.
I am currently at ep 5 and guys. like. I love it so much. You know the best part is that whenever they have a problem they actually talk about it and almost always solve it immediately. And whenever he teaches her something, he doesn't raise his voice but talks in a normal manner. I am so blown away. These are like the rarest things in Dramaland.
Should've ended with 8 or 10 eps but now they even added one more ... sigh.
You know it wasn't even that good from the start because the directing isn't that good and the acting of both isn't good either - I really don't know what happened to Sung Hoon here, I mean honestly speaking he is not the best actor but I've seen him do better in other dramas.
But it was still good enough for me to continue watching. However, now I am really, really bored of the same old problems and the same old plot. Our Heroine is a very weak character and basically they are creating really unnecessary and dumb misunderstandings and problems that could've been avoided by talking. The problem though is that both characters are really bad at this basic human skill: that is communication.
The worst thing is that our female lead is always drawing the exact opposite of the obvious answer to our male leads actions. If she was Cinderella and the prince was finally bringing her shoe back, she'd probably think to herself that he had to bring the shoe back because she has smelly feet and he was kind enough to bring it back since it looks expensive -
totally ignoring that he spent like forever to find her weak a**. But well she is Paderella.
Ahhh it's so refreshing to have a couple that's already friends. I am so glad we can skip the part where they have to get to know each other through stupid misunderstandings and/or a tragic past first which will eventually open their superficial and judging eyes, so they can start to care for each other. So glad that they already have developed feelings for each other, though it will probably take the same time like in every other drama until they finally realize it and can be together.
I am normally not the biggest fan of Park Seo Joon (at least not after A Witch's Romance) but I really am feeling his charm here again. I think he picked a really nice role for once. He is part of something great we all kind of noticed with the last two years I think: The SecondGenerationMaleLead. The 2GML (sounds like a mobile phone lol) first broke stereotypes like being a effing douchebag to the female lead or everybody else (I know that at least three really deserving male leads come to your mind). But Dong Man is even better: Not only is he nice to our heroine but he actually isn't a super CEO with an IQ of 200. He could be the ThirdGenerationMaleLead already but I don't wanna get over my head and expect too much.
I also like that since they are childhood friends there won't be any interfering parents because they have the same background. There will be only (delusional) second leads meddling but, well, we need difficulties and enemies in a story.
After all, this is a really nice set up for a light-hearted romantic drama. I really hope it develops well.

I am getting so hot, I wanna take my clothes off.
I was just thinking the exact thing. Thank you for putting it in words.
