I don't think he'll be successful in killing Tae-Seok, Tae-Seok is very much the "final boss" here. Se-Hun…
Actually, I see both of them dying! Tae-Seok has done too much horrible things to live lol if he ends up alive in the end, I will GENUINELY be upset π besides, Nan-Suk will be alive! I see Hye-Ra dying for the tragic factor, but Tae-Seok dying as a form of karma...
From what I saw on NamuWiki, it doesn't look like there's gonna be an Olympics break, only a few days off (Feb…
That's what I call an old drunk man laugh. A laugh of poverty lmao. I think his character will be very, very different in Red Pearl/Pearl in Red! We might get the evil version of this poverty guffaw. π
Which is why daily k-dramas ratings are lower now. Not too many housewives in SK anymore. Demographics have changed and I've seen more younger viewers (like myself) get into daily dramas, both in South Korea *and* outside of it.
NS is still a strong woman and she was always comedic relief (character development is a thing though, lol), her secretary was never a "serious" character either. Also HR's husband's death was (initially) an accident and he was alive. If you watch, she didn't intend to kill him, however I agree that she shouldn't have left him alone... because TS decided to kill him himself. *He* was the murderer.
JW being cold (complex, actually) makes sense. Not every FL needs to be a sweetheart and I like that she's different & has some edge. Same with HN... also, his character's path changed recently, not radically. He was one of the few good people, then the rooftop incident happened, he found out the truth behind his dad's death and snapped. Anyone would, too. That being said, I loved JW more in the first half (in her ambitious/semi-villainous era) than I did in the second half, but her character change post-rooftop fall isn't bad. But you haven't called out any of the villainous characters and all your criticisms are focused the characters who are being targeted, rather than the characters who are *doing* the targeting at this point. I might've misinterpreted this though, so you may or may not agree. NS is my favorite though. Always has been, and I know I'm one of the 3 JW fans here. It's lonely on this Cha (Jin?) Jung-Won/Su-Ah island.
Everyone in this show, barring Tae-Seok, is a victim somehow. JW being a victim of multiple people, HN being a victim of his mom's consequences/sins (same with YC & her being a victim of NS's abuse), SH being a victim of deception (I blame him for some, others not so much), SM being an innocent figure, NS being a victim of domestic violence (this plays a bigger role than you think in her behavior!), HR being a victim of TS's emotional abuse (the manipulation, gaslighting, stalking. She's complicated but still a victim of his.) The characters in this drama are not black & white, they're all various shades of grey. Some more or less than others. The only "pure evil" character we have is Tae-Seok.
As for the actors, all of them are doing amazing jobs, yes. At first it was a bit awkward, but the acting levels have stabilized a lot...
I absolutely love how Nansuk and Hyera's relationship evolved and I will absolutely miss them when the drama ends…
Alternatively, she could have cancer and think she's pregnant, I saw that in another daily drama before. Or it's a pseudopregnancy (which is a medical condition.)

He is, if you check the cast list lol. But then again, MDL always lists older actors as supporting actors, even if they're major/main characters... different cake for a different party, though. π
Let me break down some stuff:1. No one has anything against SH's actor. He's doing a great job in his role.2.…
You're welcome! Also, I did reread the comment. I think the ending ultimately falls on the writer & network (KBS2.) Improv might be different, though.
I see! As for TS marrying SH's mother... I don't know? He *was* the CEO/president of Kun-Hyang back in the 90s (as we've seen in flashbacks), and they never specified what SH's mother did or who she really was. She was mostly comatose, then just... died. I'm worried that TS might end up killing HR in an obsessive rage, if she dies, I'd rather have it be a sacrifice or something. I haven't watched many daily dramas with bittersweet or sad/tragic endings. They should be done more, I think. π€
You raise a valid point... HN doesn't seem that close to his sister at all. I don't like that he helped JW commit identity fraud either, then pretended to be self-righteous about it lol. But no one in this show is perfect. Regarding HN & YC's relationship, this seems like a flaw on the writer's part, I can't tell what their relationship truly is like. Or it was mentioned and I forgot. Maybe they'll reconcile in the future?
1. No one has anything against SH's actor. He's doing a great job in his role. 2. HN *disclipined* YC, he's her older (adopted) brother, yes. However, she NEEDS to take accountability for what she's done. Period. 3. I liked YC getting her karma, but it's important to remember that she's a product of her environment. A part of me feels bad for her, but what she's done and chosen to do so is overshadowed by the sympathy I have for her.
Onto part 2... 1. SH's mother is dead, she died earlier in the drama. The best bet is having it belong to HN or JW... or better yet, selling Gun-Hyang Group entirely lol 2. If YC commits suicide, it'll be karma catching up to her. She's been tormenting JW since they were teenagers. The only time JW fought back when she stole her identity... and YC set THAT in motion. Let's not ignore the facts & plot here. 3. SH and JW are divorced, since their marriage happened in the first half of the drama. Also, SH is too far gone at this point and literally tried to kill her. TS? He's the final boss. He's done so much terrible shit that the only ways he'll get punished is through life imprisonment or death (which is very likely!)
Lastly: Are you a Tae-Seok fan? If you are, umm... π€¨ why? Lol
