Can anyone say it's a happy ending ? because Her mom said to Harumichi that She is already married and pregnant…
yes it's true that FL married, had a child with, and then divorced another man.
but
***MAJOR SPOILER***
she only did that because she got memory loss and thus forgot a huge chunk of her life—forgot ML, forgot her best friend. she was like a whole new person. it didn't help that her mother never told her about ML either. so it's not like she started a new relationship intentionally
On episode 3: Do they explain Su Chengcheng’s desire to work in the marketing department of a make up company…
in one episode, she mentioned that she likes watching makeup competition shows, so some interest there.
tbh i did wonder about this too. then i thought, maybe she finds makeup interesting but doesn't have a strong desire (or maybe even confidence) to wear it or express it? i know some people who are like that
everyone's rewatching... but i rewatched clips too many times that the overall story is still fresh in my memory 🤣 wish i could lose my memory and watch the show again
This came highly recommended, with glowing reviews and sky-high ratings that practically dared me to dive in.…
agree with kokuto. "lost you forever" is a great drama with symbolisms and layers waiting to be unraveled (seriously. they discussed a lot in the "harvard" thread LOL) the soundtrack, acting, and cinematography are well-done too.
i love LYF for its complex and more realistic (compared to a lot of other dramas) approach to the characters and their relationship dynamics. it shows us how we can't have everything we want in life; we have to sacrifice or let go of some things. in a sense, it reminds me of "the great gatsby" by f. scott fitzgerald—the kind of stories that go beyond a typical romance by exploring the complexities of emotions, life, and love, thus making if more meaningful and unforgettable. all in my opinion of course.
i can see why this wouldn't be for everyone though. (unrelated but your bio was entertaining to read :D
