You guys were right, Lao Ai story arc goes on way too long. I'm on ep 45 now and he is still alive. It will be satisfying when I see the end of him. On the other hand, Dong Er's death was sad. How many people died to keep Fu Su alive?
Reading the synopsis, this seems to be the remake of My Girl and I, the one from 2005 with Song Hye Kyo and Cha Tae Hyun. That movie was a remake of the Japanese one 'Crying Out Love, In the Center of the World' which was based on the novel.
I'm late - just getting started and "epic" is an understatement. Binge watched thru episode 12 and now I am researching…
You'd think with such a high production budget, they could have hired one or two more actors so the ages match. The 9 year old that was casted as 3 year old QSH, and the 15 year old that was supposed to be 9-year-old QSH. SMH.
Here we go - starting episode 47, we're going to see some great things Ying Zheng is going to bring the world.
Thanks for letting me know there's hope. I'm on ep 24 and it's starting to turn into a regular romance drama instead of political. I hope it's not like this for many episodes but I have a feeling it'll continue for a while.
This is his year. I didn't watch Dr Romantic, so IOTNBO is where I noticed him first, and now I'm watching Start Up and will also be watching Do Do So So La La So soon
WeTV subtitles seem to be better, like translating people´s names, banners etc. for better understanding, that…
Thank you! I was wondering why the youtube version didn't translate any of this. It makes it confusing, especially with a million characters in the first few episodes.
I'm watching Fearless Whispers and he is so good looking in it! He plays an interesting gray character. I really like his acting. I'll be watching Dear Mayang Street soon. Hope he will get a ML role soon
The neighbor scene was significant because it allowed the main protagonist to fully understand the situation with…
I kept watching and you make a good point why the neighbor is important. I was just expecting him to become Communist a lot sooner than this, especially since Xia was telling Shen QingHe about bring him on in episode 1 or 2. Now finally 3/4 of the way through, he's finally asked to join, and episodes later he finally joins, years after the story started, with less than a year of the war left. How much is his joining really going to help them?
I want to watch but will have to wait, I hate how TW dramas only air one episode per week. By the time the last episode airs in March, people will have forgotten what happened in the first few episodes.
unless its a costume drama (and even so) i have yet to see a cdrama that needs 51 episoddes. i thoguht they banned…
This! I'm already at the middle of this drama and it's beginning to much very slowly with a lot of filler scenes and fewer action / plot devices to move the plot along.
It started out good but after around episode 24, the story began moving much more slowly. They spent 2 episodes saying goodbye to a character with nothing else to move the plot, and then multiple episodes about the protagonist's neighbor guy's issues, except not a lot of the episode involves his neighbor. There are just so much filler scenes. I'm on ep 31 now, and if it doesn't get better I may drop it.
My first Kdrama was Autumn in My Heart back around 2007, before that I watched Taiwanese Dramas.
