Hello since your watching this drama can you tell me if there is a romance between Liang Si Shen and one of the…
Ok, so, scratch what I said before. It may not happen in this season. I can't tell you for sure, since I'm not done with the drama, but I just finished ep 32 out of 39. She gets introduced somewhere around episode 24, and they meet up a few episodes later. However, at ep 32 they are not any close to having feeling for each other (he's still married) so I doubt it will happen in Like a Flowing River 2. I'll let you know if it changes by the end.
They are working on writing a 3rd season though, which should be the final season since the book was intended for 3 seasons.
I'm a simple girl, I see Kim Seon Ho and I click. I just finished watching Start Up today and need to find other things he's been in. He was amazing, the 2nd lead syndrome is strong in this drama.
For the Chinese one, using Ge Ge is quite uncommon unless it's your actual brother. Girls don't normally call their boyfriends Ge Ge. If it's a friend who is brother's age, or someone you have a crush on that you'd like to get closer to, you'd say Jin Ge, it's kind of a sweet way of addressing them. And if it's a handsome stranger, call them Shuai Ge.
hahaha I wanted to ask this question too. Apparently he is listed as one of the leads so I guess he should show…
Thanks! You're right, I kept watching and am on ep 11 now. Gotta say though, now I think Nan Sun is an idiot, and Suo Suo is smarter. Seriously, Nan Sun thinks bf's ex from the small town is that big of a threat to their relationship that she's willing to pay for her to go to school just to get her away from him? If you gotta do that to get your bf not to look at someone else, he ain't worth it.
Nan Sun had to borrow money from Suo Suo to do this initially. How could she afford to do this every month?
This is star-studded, looks to be another one of those anthology dramas where each episode is a separate story about a different person. I hope they make it interesting. It looks like it's based on real people and events, Tu YouYou is still alive.

I just got done with Ep 16 and so far she hasn't been introduced yet. I believe it will be her and YunHui together in the end though. That said, this show isn't huge on romance in the first place, there are a few romantic scenes but it's mostly about work and the village.
I finished episode 12 and gotta rant. Cheng Kai Yan is dumber than a box of rocks.
Spoiler alert:
Not only is she not good at anything at home like cooking (she was bad at it in Season 1, you would have thought she'd learned something in the years since she's been introduced), she's not smart at work either. Her first day at work, she was basically just sitting there, not reading anything, and completely forgot what her assignment was. And then when she got home, she was so tired she couldn't make dinner. What did she do all day that made her so tired?
Not only this, she doesn't understand corruption and nepotism, and why it's bad. She's completely ok with her husband going against the rules to help her brother. She also doesn't know when she's being taken advantage of; her leader at work is only being nice to her because she needs something from her husband.
How can anyone be this dumb? She was like this in Season 1 but at least she was a little sweet and cared about Xiao Hui, so I didn't hate her that much. I just hate when shows make a character like this, because it's unrealistic that one person is so bad at literally everything.

Thank you! I'm only on ep 4 and this is moving quite slowly with not a lot of plot movement in each episode. Would I miss a lot if I skip some episodes? This Ma guy is so smarmy and I'm 99% sure Ni Ni is about to get conned.
I missed him! Been waiting for this but it didn't seem that long since I saw Romance is a Bonus Book. Ofc, I went back and watched a few of his other older dramas in the last few months. I hope to see him in a project soon!
It's not similar to the movie at all. I watched most of the first episode and I know they're just setting up the scene but kind of boring so far. Really mundane stuff happening. I'll give it a few more episodes to decide to continue
This is the first I've heard of a mainland adaptation of this movie, the movie was great because the FL leads were great actors, although the ending was meh. I hope they use the same song 流金岁月, it's one of my favorite songs.
But...they're siblings! Lol their relationship in Like a Flowing River was so great as sibling it'll be hard to see them any other way, but they're both great actors so I will look forward to this.
Yeah I'm sure most is fictionalized. I don't normally watch historicals, and this is only the second time I've seen a show with the Qin Empire, the first time being A Step From The Past years ago. Obviously, that's even more fictionalized, but, if memory serves, they didn't have a revolt, and made Lao Ai and the Empress' there rather likeable, with QSH turning evil.
