HILLARIOUS MY FAV WAS CHIAKI AND KOKI I first thought chiaki was a druggie cause he acts so dozed off haha but…
It was a short fun and great sports drama to watch! Yeah, Kento does not do much in this drama but he's starting to go away from generic cold tsundere-like roles now which is good! Clearly he's got potential. His recent acting in Good Doctor and Todome No Kiss has shown he is very much a versatile actor. fingers crossed he keeps going and keeps taking on adult/mature roles.
Chiaki was funny too in this one! Reminded me a bit of Akira in Nobuta wo Produce actually... Mamiya Shotaro is also a versatile actor, he showed it in Gakkou no Kaidan, Bokutachi ga Yarimashita, Mr.Nietzsche in the Convenience Store, Teiichi: Battle of Supreme High and etc
you've held onto this drama up to 8 episodes though, might as well just finish it, you got two left. for me if i were to decide if i want to drop a drama or not, i'd watch up to episode 2-3 and make the choice.
I am afraid it will be a cliche ending. I don't think kayano really killed her, I bet she just made reina killed…
yeah that does seem cliche but that seems the most logical reason if they're going with 'kayano killed kageyama'. so far they've surprised us lots of times, hopefully they do it again next episode.
A good drama and I don't mind the ending, I think it's quite fitting. However, I just don't get itwhy does Ikuo…
just my assumption, i don't know anything about guns but Ikuo took a gun shot from far away meanwhile Tatsuya took a point-blank gunshot to his gut, he'd undoubtedly bleed to death quickly
The ending is so Romeo and Juliet. Tatsuya really was an idiot, choosing to end like that and Ikuo, following…
Tatsuya was going to die anyway, he took a POINT-BLANK gunshot to his gut. Ikuo soon realized that he was already long gone when he was in the car with him. Had he choose to continue with his life, Ikuo presumably knew he was going to end up rotting in jail and live without Danno who'd been by his side for basically his whole life. Ikuo knowingly wouldn't have been able to cope with it at all, so he chose to die along with Danno after finally knowing the truth they'd spent their whole lives looking for. There was no way he could've had a semblance of a normal life, especially without Danno by his side (and presumably he might not even know what a normal life looks like considering he and Danno have been going after the perpetrator since forever) and he wouldn't have been able to deal with it alone so he chose to live his afterlife with Danno and Yuiko instead.
If they showed a shot of them lying down dead, I would've cried for hours. I feel so bad for Tatsuya's right hand man and Hibino, dammit. I still think Kitagawa should've died there, just to put an end to their revenge, what they've been living for. Just an arrest isn't enough imo. Even when Ikuo was about to shoot him, that a-hole basically shoved "of course.. you're my son, Ikuo" in his face. I think everyone would agree that his character should've died there.
Great drama. Great music. Absolutely amazing acting.
on a side note, when you're at the latter parts of the drama, it feels like the first 5 episodes really didn't matter that much (hell i can barely remember them) and that's the only thing holding me back from giving it higher than a 8. like i gotta be honest, i really don't remember much.

or maybe the actress is still young???
