If you're familiar with Nagano Mei, this isn't her actual voice. She makes her voice lighter and softer for her…
Honestly speaking, hers in this show is far from the much higher ones I've heard before. Tbh if you somehow find her voice annoying, then I would imagine it'll be much more irritating if you were to watch animes, especially with most female characters' VA in animes lol.
I enjoyed this drama more than I expected to! The final episode felt a little weak maybe because the tone was…
If you're familiar with Nagano Mei, this isn't her actual voice. She makes her voice lighter and softer for her character in this drama and honestly, I find it to be fitting for her character.
I feel like you should give it a second chance, bc tbh the drama became much better after ep. 6. Ironically, this…
I can concur, surely wasn't feeling it for the first half of the drama but episode 6 is pretty much where the story actually starts. Definitely stick around.
No. I didn't read the manga but I still didn't enjoy it.
I think smiling Yuko is reason enough to watch it lol, maybe just go in expecting a cutesy cliche romcom and nothing more nothing less than that so you'll enjoy it that way.
Yes, new picture was about time. But there are so many better pictures of him than this one...
It's his new pic for when he's first announced to be Bvlgari's ambassador this year and that's his first official picture so it's suitable to be a profile picture because it is one lol.
Okay wow. Episode 6 and onwards took this cliché, silly rom-com at first and turned it into a serious, complex…
I love how the story seamlessly transitioned Death Prince and Shu into switching sides, we're first introduced to the MC wanting to protect Aoi and the other hitman wanting to kill Aoi and for now, both of their current goals have become their enemy's former goal.
Okay wow. Episode 6 and onwards took this cliché, silly rom-com at first and turned it into a serious, complex story with lots of deep mystery and angst-filled feuds.
At first, I found the low ratings for this show to be justified imo because of the first half of the drama being so full of fluff & full of scenarios that were getting repetitive (admittedly I would've dropped this had it not been for the cast) but now that we're in the second half of the drama, I hope those that might've dropped this at first consider giving it another chance and stick around because now I really wish the writers focused more on the serious/mystery aspects of the story in the first half considering that only now is the drama taking a sudden turn and taking us viewers on this suspenseful and thrilling ride. The actors are also showing off their acting chops as well as their capabilities in performing in an action role, especially Taishi, Nobuyuki is no stranger to action roles and has always been solid in them but cmiiw I think this is Taishi's first action role (he had some fight scenes in Hana Nochi Hare) and as for action, he's doing pretty well in this.
Now this drama has my attention, I'm certainly excited for the upcoming episodes.
Do I need to watch the other entries in this series before I watch this?
Hmm, need? Not really. Should? Very much so.The whole series is amazing, it would be such a waste if you decided to not go through them.
I can't recommend the series hard enough, the three main characters all have different personalities but they work so well so it's better to go through the series to familiarize yourself with them. Masami Nagasawa totally plays a completely different character as opposed to her other roles and her character understandably might not be for everyone but if you sit back and embrace her bubbly personality, then you'll find yourself enjoying the series a lot.
